Phoenix's Core and Essence

Paul and that demon sat on the rock while that huge phoenix body was in the middle of them

"Let me tell you this, phoenix's head tastes very delicious! I used to eat them a lot before" that demon said

Paul nodded but there was some uneasy feeling inside him

"Will I be okay?" Paul asked him

"What are you talking about?" the demon asked him

"No, this bird has some kind of feeling even after it is dead! I'm getting scared, even I don't know why I'm scared? About and why?" Paul said while looking at the phoenix huge head,

That demon didn't understand what he was saying,

"Wait a minute," he said and flipped the bird and climbed on top of it

"I think because your human and this is a God beast! Humans should fear God! That's what I thought, maybe it was the truth too" that demon said and slowly he sliced the skin of the phoenix chest

"But what happens if you take this?" he said with a smile and dug his hand into the phoenix and took a golden ball out

"What is that?" Paul asked him

"Core of this beast!" The demon said with a smile and jumped in front of him

"Core? Like you said humans can make one after reaching the Jade White-Gold Core?" Paul asked him

"Yes! This also same but beast have inborn just like us demons" that demon said

"You also have one?" Paul asked him

"Of course I have one," he said and pointed at the middle of the chest, where there were some red skin folds

"This is where demons core are formed," he said

"Oh" Paul was surprised by his showings… "what will happen if that core is taken away?" he asked

"One can't take the core of Chasm Demon without killing it if it was for normal beasts and humans? Then they will be crippled and can't cultivate anymore" the demon said to him

Paul nodded and looked at the golden core in demons' hands, it was the size of a football!

"This is a big one," Paul said and tried to touch it, when he touched that, he felt warm…his whole body relaxed in that instant

"This feels good," he said with a smile

"Try to absorb it," that demon said with a smile, a scary smile

Paul looked at that smile and said "Why are you smiling so often? You might not know, but your smile is really scary" Paul said to him and took the core from his hands

"So I need to absorb Qi from this right?" he asked

"Yes, this is phoenix core have the Nirvana flames which are one of the most powerful flames too, first take this and try to absorb it," Demon said and a drop of blood appeared on top of his hand

"A Blood drop?" Paul raised his eyebrows,

"Yes, first take this, you don't have any Bloodline so now after taking this your blood becomes phoenix bloodline" that demon said and he took another drop of blood which was far thicker than the other one

"Then what is this?"

"This phoenix Blood Essence, which this bird refined this for countless years, this is very powerful than both of them so this is last" he said to him

"Okay, I will take this first" Paul said with and opened his mouth, and that demon dropped the drop in his mouth

Paul felt his throat was set on fire! And that fire slowly started to spread all over his body

"Don't worry, this will be over in no time" that demon said and it really ended in one minute, in that one minute Paul faced so much Pain

"Is…there anything that is not painful?" Paul asked him, he already experienced so much pain today…he can't take it anymore

"I think I should log out for now? Or let's play some more time" he thought and closed his eyes and tried to absorb the Qi inside the ball

"Wow…there are flames inside the core and a huge amount of Qi!" Paul said as he looked inside the core, there were orange-red flames which look powerful too,

He tried to absorb the Qi normally, his normal technique speed was increased, some times can absorb 80 points per second was the highest! But when he uses his Nine heavens Demon Devolve his highest was 100,000 points per second!

"Can I use it?" Paul asked the demon

"Sure try it, this was made of things like this," the demon said and Paul tried to use Nine heavens Demon Devolve

Paul tried not to care about what will happen next, but no hands were on the core and look like something happened to him

"The flames entering my body," Paul said as the Qi and the Flames inside the ball entered his body,

"So, these are the Nirvana Flames," Paul said in surprise that the flames look weak but very strong! As those flames entered his body they started to burn him from the inside!

"W-What is happening?" Paul was shocked but he was not feeling much pain from that

"Maybe the flames are trying to get used in its new owner body," that demon said, he also don't know

"Oh" Paul nodded and closed his eyes and let the flames enter his body and absorb the QI, his absorbing rate was almost 10,000 points per second! Before he absorbed 100,000 per second but he did that unconsciously and can't do that again after learning the technique,

"I'm really impressed by some humans and your one of them, I'm still in confusion how you learned that in just 2 hours or maybe even lower than that!" that demon said

Paul who was totally focused on absorbing heard him

"Because the technique was divided into nine realms! I just learned the first realm! It seems the creator himself doesn't know about it much" Paul said to him
