The years

Time passed quickly for him, Peter was born, it was celebrated, and then he was right back to it.

Tony continued to expand his company into all fields, bringing the world's tech just a bit forward, just a bit further. Inching it slowly not to scare people despite his many ideas for the future.

As his company began to rake in more and more money, he continued to expand, but also concentrate on things that could help the world, donating money, making appearances, and improving his overall appearance to the public as he slowly came from the 'Play-boy Son of the Starks' to a respected and well-known member of society.

At this time, Pepper Potts had put in an application to join his company as a small-time intern for one of his smaller companies. He had put a private flag on her name so he was made aware of when she officially joined the company.

He didn't even need to actively do anything to make sure she got accepted, her record was stellar, above and beyond. It was no surprise that she rapidly advanced until she was Tony's Assistant, and then eventually CEO and lover.

Tony wouldn't actively try and interact with her, but he would keep an eye on her progress, interested in the tactics she would employ, and the chances she would take.

Donating to charity funds had improved his public appearance, as well as frequently showing up when something bad happened, and having a famous face to the situation would get it more views, bringing more attention to it.

When a nasty hurricane hit a small town, Tony hired a company to rebuild the houses, and to give them all another chance, including by helping those who wanted it to seek a new life in America. Getting them jobs at smaller parts of his company, even if it was just being a Janitor or mail sorter, was something.

Tony continued to hone not only his body but his mind and soul. His physique had improved by leaps and bounds, giving him that strong hot body every rich billionaire/Vigilante should have. Including training in multiple forms of martial arts.

His mind continued to impress even himself as he learned more, and was able to crunch the numbers, the information into a practical song capable of taking him to new heights.

His soul built strength as he reviewed his memories, living not just his life, but the life before this one again, coming to terms, meditation and a clear mind helped strengthen his soul along with a practiced attempt as increasing his overall use of mana and its size.

This training stemmed from him learning how to protect his mind, and to even great 'Wards' and other barrier-type spells for protection and any number of things, the stronger his soul, his mana and the many things that were a part of it were, the stronger he could make these barriers, the more he could make, and the more 'magic' it could have attached to them.

He had three large wards and two smaller ones. The three larger wards were over his main workshop where he and the Parkers did their work, it offered two things other than 'protection' and that was to increase recovery, and increase focus. Making it easier to relax, and easier to work. It had already shown a small improvement in their overall efficiency, something so small at first that only Jarvis who was asked to specifically keep an eye on it would notice.

He practically lived in the workshop, so the two smaller wards were one over James' personal home, and one over the Parkers, focused more on their protection, recovery, and letting Tony know if they were ever in danger from an obvious threat, physically or magically.

It was after two years that the Parkers had finally made a real proper breakthrough with the first serum they were creating.

An immune booster serum, that would shield people from some of the rarer sicknesses, protect them against the newer ones, and make it harder for them to affect them, it was basically a flu shot on steroids and had undergone extensive testing. Tony knew the kind of publicity such a thing would cause as there would always be 'Anti-Vaxers' so to speak, but he didn't worry. This serum was cheap to get done and would save a lot of lives in the future.

It was even safe for infants, children, and all manners of life as it boosted the body's ability to fight off infections, and due to its efficiency, it would take years before the possible need for another dose. Would it be possible to turn it into a serum capable of changing the DNA? Yes, whereas Stark had the tech to do it, the world wasn't ready for that kind of science, so he would spend time waiting for it.

It was 1995 and he had released the immunity booster, getting it administered to himself on live television, the only real drawback being slight drowsiness for the first few hours, a joke that Tony made that when he went home he was going straight for a nap.

It took a month before people started to order it, and within the next half a year, a lot more had started, it was then as Tony was examining the profit margin for the first half of the year that Jarvis alerted him of something.

''Sir, I'm detecting some sort of unidentified craft in space, sector 5 on the long range.''

''What...? Bring it up.'' Tony said, sitting forward as he put the papers to the side.

A hologram appeared showing space, and then in the distance was a strange ship, it soon vanishing as some sort of cloaking appeared over it.

''Any identifiers what it might be?'' Tony asked and Jarvis hummed.

''By the vague description you gave, I believe this to be Captain Marvel's story.'' Jarvis said and Tony grunted a bit, leaning back in his chair as he used his hand to rub at his cheek a bit, he was keeping himself clean shaven for now, not wanting to spend time everyday for beard care alone just yet while he was still pretty active in his everyday, Jarvis could watch over it all, and make choices following the Guideline, but then that would leave Tony to much time...

So many years as Tony, tinkering away at so many things left him always wanting for more things to focus on.

He knew that if he left it as is, there would be know civilian casualties, but that didn't mean he couldn't save some lives...

Problem is he didn't want Shield to know just how far his tech had come yet, so he would need to do it quickly and quietly. The best way to do that was to build a new stealth-assisted suit that could be used remotely to save Skrulls.

He cared little for the Kree if at all.

As he stood to begin working on his idea, he felt a shift of magic shimmer and he looked up to see the Ancient one stepping through a portal.

''Come to see me off?'' Tony asked.

''I did... This is a momentous occasion Tony, and an event I couldn't quite miss, one I prefer to see with my own eyes first hand, and not through the stone.''

He nodded, he didn't mind having the Ancient one watch over his shoulder while he worked, maybe she'd gift him a hint, bring him to new heights?

''Sorry Tony, but I know little about what all this is.'' She chuckled softly.

''But, I can tell you that you shouldn't use the stealth coating your thinking off... Something simpler will do just fine.'' She amused him and he stopped, he wasn't sure how to take that, but then again, she could see the future.

He wouldn't use the stealth cloaking tech then yet, maybe he could just employ the old 'Snatch and Grab' mission.
