Fourteen

At this very moment, in another location, an immeasurable distance away. Looking at the twelve figures sitting at the table in front of her, the Third couldn't help but faintly smile.

"It's been quite a long time since we've all met like this," mumbled the Third as she sat down at the table as well, right in between the Second and the Fourth, who was currently sleeping.

Hearing her words, several of the other beings at this table looked at the third with the corner of their eyes, seemingly not wanting to associate with her.

Feeling a particularly heavy glance coming from a certain being, the Third couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"Little girl, shouldn't you be respectful to your elders?" asked the Third with a faint smile on her face as she looked at a figure further down the table.

Hearing the words of the third, the Twelfth couldn't help but grit her teeth. Just as the Twelfth was about to get up, a hand suddenly stopped her.

"Senior, I think you and Senior Third can put aside your differences for now since we have something to talk about," said Thirteenth as she looked at Twelfth.

Hearing this, Twelfth clenched her teeth one final time before lowering herself back to the ground. Seeing this, the Third let out a small chuckle.

"As expected of Thirteenth, so young yet already so dependable," mumbled the Third, causing Thirteenth to shake her head.

After being annoyed for the first few trillion years, Thirteenth had already gotten used to Third's antics, unlike her senior.

Just as Third was about to continue speaking, a seal suddenly appeared on her mouth as First suddenly opened her eyes.

Although the difference in power between First and Third was great, it was not so great that First could shut Third up without the latter being able to resist, but sadly Third was merely an incarnation, one which was not even present in the Myriad Immortal Plane at that.

'Just you wait until you send an Incarnation to my Timeline, I will make sure to toy with it thoroughly,' thought Third as she stared at first.

"As all of you are aware, we have probably discovered our Fourteenth comrade," said First as it looked at the Twelve other beings before it.

"Sadly though, it looks as though someone or something is blocking Fourteen's home timeline," said First, causing the eyes of some of the younger beings, which were not aware of this fact, to widen.

"After some investigation, I have written off most if not all the others as the ones who had blocked the timeline, as such, it is probably being blocked by some unknown being," continued first, causing the others to fall into thought.

"Could it be an attempt by the Time Dragons to stop us?" asked the Tenth as she looked stared at the First.

Compared to most beings in this group, the Tenth was rather unique. Other than the first, who had no physical form at the moment, the Tenth was the only one who looked any different from the others.

Of course, this excluded robes and other accessories, which were different for every single being.

Whilst all the others looked nearly exactly like Xu Yue, the Tenth not only did not have that same black hair but was also quite a bit thinner than the others, appearing much more delicate. At the same time, the eyes of the Tenth were a pure gray color and had no pupils.

"That's impossible, no matter how much the Time Dragons hate us, they would never interfere in our actions, as long as we stick to the rules, at least for now before Fourteen joins us," said the Second as she looked at the Tenth.

If one did not break any of the rules, the Time Dragons would not interfere, this was a rule which had stood for countless years.

Hearing this, The Tenth nodded before turning back towards the first.

"Are you aware of any sort of being which could be responsible for this?" asked the Tenth, causing the manifestation of the First to shake her head.

"Although I have seen Timelines being blocked before, I haven't seen one being blocked in eons, especially since the Time Dragons began enforcing their rules," said the First, causing the eyes of the Tenth to slightly widen.

'The Time Dragons not enforcing The Rules of Time, how long ago was that?' thought the Tenth with a rather shocked look on her face.

No matter how far back in history the Tenth looked, she could not find a period of time when the Time Dragons did not enforce rules for Rank 9 True Immortals.

Of course, at the same time, no matter how far back her eyes went, the First also seemed to always be there, as the Tenth trusted the latter's words.

Hearing this boring discussion come to an end, the Seventh, who was silent up until now, opened her mouth.

"What are we even worrying about, after the Fourteenth reaches Rank 9, we can just kill whoever is causing this problem, and if the Time Dragons interfere, we can just kill them as well by then," said the Seventh with a disdainful look in her eyes.

Hearing this, the Sixth let out a chuckle. "That's True, but not knowing little Fourteen's situation has me rather worried, we must not risk anything happening to her, otherwise we might have to wait once again" said the Sixth, causing several other beings to nod.

If Fourteen manages to reach Rank 9 nothing would matter anymore. After all, no matter how powerful someone may be, they would be no match for the combined might of all Fourteen of them.

"Since this is the case, I will begin looking into any way that we can break that seal without alerting the Time Dragons," said Thirteen as she looked at her seniors.

Hearing this, the other's nodded, other than perhaps the First, the Thirteenth was by far the most suitable one to try to break the seal.

A few moments later, the group continued their discussion to another topic.
