CHAPTER FORTY FOUR

He opened the door to the SUV and shw got in. He closed it behind her and walked to the other side. He got in and started the car but he didn't drive. He looked at her and turned it off again

"What's wrong?" She asked him

"I almost lost you! I thought you were gone. Suddenly, life without you looked bleak. All those stupid arguments we have started to replay in my head. It was so funny that every one of it hurt. When the pendant broke and Carla said you were no where to be found and she wasnt sure if you were still in the pendant or you were outside it, I thought you were gone. I don't want to ever feel like that again. I don't want to ever lose you. Life without you is dark. It has no meaning. It is awful and bitter. It is sad. I know you think I am against every idea you've got..."

"I don't think you are against every idea. I really don't" she said, interrupting him
