Chapter 106: A beautiful dream III

Serena woke up with the sunlight filtering through the windows of her room. Knowing that it was Saturday, she smiled as she excitedly thought of what she and Charlton can do that day.

Although she has spent a lot of time with him lately, it was only during the night and their activities have been limited to the dining hall and the bedroom. 

Anyhow, wanting to cuddle, she reached out for his side of the bed only to feel that it was already empty and cold. Thinking that he must have had his breakfast with Annalys, she felt a bit annoyed. Honestly, a part of her wanted Annalys to get better soon so she can already leave. Then again, when that happens, she won't have any excuse to stay there any longer. She sighed.

Looking at the time, it was 10 am. Was Charlton still spending time with Annalys? Never mind. She pulled the cord to call on the maids to help her prepare for the day.
