The Last Mission: Doubts

Day Eighty-Nine…

'Phantomflake?' 

Nathan couldn't believe his eyes. Phantomflake was supposed to be detained in the Syphiruz Headquarters. What was she doing there? And why did Ethan call her Mommy?!

Nathan stood frozen in his spot as he watched the unfolding scene in front of him.

Jane was surprised to see Ethan running towards her. She had just arrived at SYP Twilight Corp to look for Ethan. She didn't expect that Ethan would be the one to welcome her as she set foot inside the building.

'Ethan… my son.'

Jane couldn't contain her happiness as she laid eyes on the young boy. She also ran toward him. 

She caught him in her arms as soon as she reached his spot. The young boy threw himself to her, clinging to her.

"Mommy! Mommy! You're here."

Jane was stupefied for a moment. 'Did he just call me Mommy? Does he know who I am?'
