Chapter 4: Grandpa

After a lot of screaming and pleading, Hashirama came out of the house with a lot of bruises and bumps as Tsunade just giggled.

Hashirama then continued where he left off.

"Tsuna, while a lot of chakra can seem like a very good thing, the most difficult part of it for Senju clansmen is them having to accurately learn to control their output of chakra. Too much chakra inside a jutsu with no control over it can be dangerous for everyone. We will start with the first exercise, you will balance leaves onto your forehead using chakra."

He then gives her the leaf as he stares at the tree, imagining it as Konoha and wondering if it can survive without him and Madara like it has done so far. Will the great tree he created fall and burn or will it continue to stand as a tall giant that protects his saplings he wondered to himself.

"I'm done with the leaf grandpa." Tsunade said breaking him out of his thoughts.

"It is fine if you don't get it on the first tr-" he stopped as he looked at the leaf sitting easily on her forehead.

Hashirama then became depressed as he drew circles on the ground while mumbling "It took me a week to do that." over and over again.

That is how Hashirama spent his next few months training Tsunade in multiple different aspects.

The first thing that he taught her was chakra control.

She went from learning how to keep multiple leaves on her forehead, to learning how to walk on trees and water.

She was even able to create a variation on her iconic Chakra Enhanced Strength by storing her chakra onto a certain body part and releasing it with pinpoint accuracy. Combine that with her already powerful body that is a mixture between a Senju's and a pureblood Uzumaki's, and you get attacks strong enough to critically wound Special Jōnins, and that is only without training. The power of the attacks will only get more terrifying as her body grows older and her chakra reserves grow more massive.

She also tested her chakra natures, only to find out she possessed Earth, Water, Fire, Lightning, Yin, and Yang. This surprised her and she was happy since she basically had almost every chakra nature except wind giving her another massive advantage.

However only her family knew this as they didn't want to put her in any form of danger.

Today he was teaching her the flaws in her fighting style while she used her Chakra Enhanced Strength to attempt to attack him.

"Your strength is very powerful Tsuna, but without having the proper speed to put it to use, it might as well be worthless."

However he was stunned in the next moment as a chain erupted from his granddaughters back.

Seeing the change, he was shocked, as he knew this was an ability that even very few pureblooded Uzumaki could have.

He decided to allow the chain to hit him, so that he could test its strength.

The chain wrapped around his wrist, and Hashirama immediately felt his Chakra being drained at a steady rate. Even though it didn't take much from him, against a normal genin it could be extremely dangerous.

After this he stopped the chain and stopped there training aswell.

He then spoke to Tsunade and said "Congratulations Tsuna, it seems that you have inherited the Uzumaki Clan inherited techniques. Mito will be so happy to teach you. She'll probably teach you Fuinjutsu as well."

He then stopped as he looked at his granddaughter as he saw her rubbing her eyes and said "I'm proud of you Tsuna."

She jumped into his arms and hugged him as she closed her eyes as she mumbled "Love you grandpa." he then carried her into her room in the house, but just when he was about to set her on her bed, her grip tightened on him as she said in a small voice "Don't leave me grandpa."

He was left stunned but then smiled as he decided to sit in his chair as they both fell asleep together.
