So Glad It's You

Sage kissed her sweetly, wanting to relish in this feeling for as long as possible with both of their claims on each other humming deliciously in that depth within themselves that no one else could touch. The darkness behind their eyes when they closed them was no longer flat and alone. That depth was there with a new light like streaks of gold across an interior, secret sky.

"I feel you everywhere," Gia said in awe after another kiss from Sage where now his mouth and his lips and his cool against her heat felt like home. "Everywhere."

"I'm so sorry, Gigi," he grimaced. "I waited so long. I didn't trust myself, but I should have trusted you."

"You are here now," she smiled, the soft sadness behind her eyes burning away with the light that he had filled her with. She caressed his face, memorizing it under her hands. This Sage was grown and mature. He was so much different than she remembered him and yet entirely the same.
