Xiao Mo was whisked away by Manager Zhang to a high-class restaurant after work. Even a glance was enough to discern the lofty prices, a place Xiao Mo wouldn't normally enter.

"Manager Zhang, are you treating me to a meal?" Xiao Mo feigned surprise. "Surely eating here costs an arm and a leg?"

Manager Zhang enjoyed seeing the naive reactions of junior employees, but if such an expression appeared on Xiao Mo's face, it became more amusing.

Xiao Mo had followed Zhuang Liu for more than a decade, already working by Zhuang Liu's side before Manager Zhang had joined the Zhuang Corporation. It was surprising that even Xiao Mo had never dined in such a lavish place, suggesting perhaps Zhuang Liu wasn't so generous towards him.
