Chapter 50

3rd Person's Pov

The two carriages from the Duke Royal's mansion arrived in front of the Palace. Every noble who was about to enter the castle stopped and watched the two carriage stop.

Their eyes were full of observation and some were looking forward to officially seeing the lady of the Lake. She is a once in a lifetime occurrence in this world.

Ruby was the first to come out and step down from the carriage. He extended his hands to Yelena, who had got out of the carriage.

Yelena accepted the hand, with her eyes rolling and got down from the carriage. When she got down she whispered something to Ruby.

"Escort Lady Avery down."

"Why would I?" Ruby asked in annoyance. "Escorting you down is already a burden." He added.

"It's etiquette." Yelena reasoned.

Ruby secretly clicked his tongue and went to escort Avery down the carriage.

Avery bows to Ruby after she gets down and says "thank you".
