To My Rescue

Arabella's POV

"Wow! Anika liked you a lot, Ara, including her father." My mother said, and I shook my head while I couldn't hide the smile on my face as I walked inside the house while my mom was following behind me.

It was such a beautiful night since I had a wonderful time with Anika, and talking to her made me feel so close to her, and I didn't think something was wrong with her.

I wondered if this was only Tyler's way to make me suffer by being in his house, and if he was doing this for fun, I could tell I would be having fun too if I was with Anika.

But I knew it would feel awkward every time Tyler was around since I couldn't control the emotion that I would feel. I wished I was not that obvious since I wanted to retain my facade since even if I am still in love with Tyler, I will do everything I can to avoid him and resist his magnetic charm.
