Chapter 111 - Against the Gods!

Time passes, Caelum hadn't participated in many ventures that fairy tail did since he's been searching Anna for quite some time even Acnologia was nowhere to be seen as if they had vanished. He knew that the gods likely took her hostage since he's been interfering with their plans for quite some time now. Caelum was confident that nothing would hurt Anna since he had placed a powerful protection spell for her and the only problem is that he couldn't locate where she was exactly. 

Laxus never tried to ruin the festival in fairy tail since Caelum pummeled him before he could get any ideas. He also met Wendy, the adorable wind dragon slayer who would be perfect for Irene as an apprentice since both had the same principle in magic. How did she join the Fairy tail when Oracion Seis doesn't exist? Well like Caelum theorizes someone is purposely trying to fix the timeline with any means necessary even how sloppy it may be. 

It's funny how some of the supposive members of that dark guild fought them since Erik or cobra was with him. Caelum twisted fate far too much that he was confident that this time when they are going to tenrou island would be the day where the gods descend. Edolas also happened but he was absent through it all trying to confirm his theory that made it even more obvious that someone is patching the timeline. 

Magnolia, Fairy Tail Guild…

Inside the guild, everyone is waiting in anticipation because today is the day that the S-class promotion exam is to take place. Everyone was on the edge, hoping to get chosen to take the Exam.

As everyone gathered, Makarov went onto the stage, taking hold of the microphone and started announcing who will be the participants.

"The ones chosen to take the upcoming S-class promotion exam are Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, Cana Alberona, Juvia Lockster, Freed Justine, Elfman Strauss, Levy McGarden, and Mest Gryder. The exam will take place in our Holy land named Tenrou Island, we will depart after a week, so meet up in the port in the morning. The chosen ones can choose one partner to be with them and help them as they take the exam but you cannot choose any current S-rank Mage to partner up with. That's all!"

The chosen ones then started looking for a partner. As for Ultear and Sorano, the two already passed the S class a year ago. Caelum was there also and so is Gildarts, when Caelum saw Mest Gryder he went to him and said.

"I know that you think you came from the council as a spy and messed with everyone's memories, but did you know? You're memories are also messed up" 

After he said that, Caelum made Mest remember that he is part of the guild who went as undercover and joined the council, and he is here now acting as an undercover from the council.

When Mest remembered he was shocked, he who can manipulate others memories also manipulated his. After he remembered he thanked Caelum and just acted like he was an undercover from the council but in reality, he is an undercover from a fairy tail that infiltrated the council.

This was done years ago along with Makarov's agreement, too bad he also manipulated his own memories even though Makarov told him not to.

Tenrou Island~

Caelum just watched the trial go on with slight changes removing certain people like Mirajane since her power is just too much and has been limited with the help of Caelum. He did the same with Gildarts and his daughter who also acted as trial for the people. There weren't any Grimoire Heart that attacked the guild since Hades or Precht from turning evil. He felt the ominous premonition coming as the wind seemed to blow differently.

In the end, Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Cana, and Elfman became S-class Mages which made them happy. Caelum decided to bring back Igneel and the others back to life later and take them all to the Empire along with the new S-class mages who just ranked up and be trained there.

Mira and Caelum became closer to each other to which Erza didn't mind. Cana who's dream of becoming an S-class and tell Gildarts that he is her father finally became true. Caelum told Guildarts about Cana before but he also said to wait for Cana to tell him, the father and daughter were happy. 

After the exam, everyone was celebrating on the Island, until Acnologia came.

RROOARR!!!

Roaring Acnologia, Caelum looked up to see the ruckus and saw people on top of Acnologia's head, his anger that he was keeping to himself finally unleashed. He could see at least three individuals on top of Acnologia. 

Because the one that was on top of Acnologia's head was a man, he looked like someone who is in his mid-age years, black hair, black eyes, wearing black all over his body.

Everyone who felt Caelum's aura started gushing out of him felt curious and immediately used magic to teleport everyone away telling his daughter to defend if things went south. When everyone arrives back at the boat, Caelum notices that they are away from the Island and slowly flies into the sky looking at his enemy who looked at him, releasing their energy causing the sky to dim and create violent waves around them.

"You!!! Do you have any idea how hard it is to fix the rift in time!!! You've doomed us, you mortal!"

Roared a young man with golden hair and clockwork eyes glaring at Caelum making him feel his perception was shifting but remained unfazed. 

"For the gods, I guess. You've manipulated everything in the shadows. Though, I can't say that I'm not who would care the least about humanity or even mortals."

Caelum's perspective of mortal life is different and his morality is difficult to pinpoint since at times he's merciful and sometimes he's brutal as a demon. Everything passed by in the blink of an eye for him where life is as common as death. 

"Unfortunately, I have a task that needs to be done and that is the downfall of you heretic gods!"

He roared at them and released a bit of his [ Dragon Haki ] letting his presence known since there is no point of hiding anymore. 

"But before we go I must if you took the woman's name Anna."

Caelum asked, taking the time to find the answer where she is since they are the only people that could have taken her. The young man with the golden hair smirked, taking something out in the empty space and taking out Anna who was unconscious, making Caelum frowned seeing in such a state. 

"Oh you talking about this mortal woman? If you want her then surrender peacefully."

He sighed, snapped his finger surprising the blond when the woman he was holding disappeared and appeared in Caelum embraces who quickly used his restoration magic to heal Anna taking only a few seconds for her eyes to twitch and Saw him holding her in a bridal way.

"C-Caelum…you…the gods…they!"

Anna panic trying to warn him about the gods who took her away but 

"I know, rest now. I'll handle the rest."

Caelum smiled softly making Anna look at him then to her side shocked to see the gods and Acnologia realizing that he planned to fight them. She wanted to stop him but Anna soon found herself in the boat where she saw Natsu, Lucy, Wendy, etc. Anna wss frantic but was calmed down by Lucy and Erza reassuring her that Caelum was going to handle it. 

Back to Caelum who looked at the gods finding a muscular and warrior like God beside the blonde one while they were being led by the middle aged man. He knew the blonde one as Chronos but the other god is unknown to him. Well it didn't matter to him since he'll be killing them anyway. 

"You know, I was getting tired waiting. Finally, I can do this again."

Caelum eyes glinted released large quantity of his power transforming into his dragon form making the gods become wary and tried to intercept with the muscular gods created a portal where a massive fist formed while the Chronos used his magic to slow him down and The middle man who was clearly Ankhseram used it's life and death energy to kill Caelum. 

However, it didn't do anything as they were pushed back and Acnologia disintegrated in the process as everyone watching including the magic council who were spying were all in awe and silent.  

Roaaaarrr!!!!

The thundering roar exploded as Caelum showed his magnificent dragon form, shocking Anna who didn't know the truth about him.

Archeaperon Empire~

Everyone felt Caelum's aura and his wives thought.

 'Caelum has finally unleashed his retrains'

"Everyone, let's go watch"

Selene happily invited them, as she amplified her voice for the whole kingdom to hear. All millions of Dragons roared in agreement, while Caelum's wives giggled and wanted to go as fast as they could. 

Selene then Made hundreds of Massive Portal leading to where Caelum and the others are all over the Empire. All Dragons on the Empire started entering the portal, millions of them along with all Caelum's wives, happy to finally see Caelum in his Dragon form again.

Those people below witness a portal forming behind Caelum as Dragons arrive in the scene scaring the people watching, especially the Magic council concluding that Caelum was the Archeapeiron Emperor. 

"Isn't this overkill?"

Ur asked seeing Caelum seemingly going all with Erza agreeing then saw Irene arrive to hug her daughter. They had joined to watch Caelum fight the gods. Meanwhile, back to Caelum, the gods were all shaken from the transformation yet held their position as Caelum growl as he spoke.

"How do you like to die?"

"You think you can kill us!? The god of this world!! Dream on!"

The death god roared as he churned even more magic absorbing magical energy in the surroundings amplifying himself with more power while Chronos released his power freezing time itself and the muscular man created a sword with immense power. They clashed that shook the whole world from their battle as the gods summoned their own army who fought the dragons in equal terms causing tsunami and hurricane to form as the fairy tail guild members were protected by Irene's barrier. 

"Why won't you die!? Gaaah!!"

Chronos had his arms sliced from Caelum magic attacks and tried to restore time healing himself and his allies only to be shocked when it was not working.

"What!?"

"Surprised? I just erased your time. Don't expect to recover from that."

Caelum explained as Chronos couldn't believe his words and became in rage, churning even more power trying to kill Caelum who just took a deep breath and fired a powerful blast that Chronos was unable to evade, disintegrating the process. He then slow transformed back to human form looking at the remaining two and said.

"Let's get this over with shall we?"

He took a stance then vanished as his enemy was flung in different places with Caelum kick, striking, chopping and every move possible. He brutally beat the two remaining gods with minor difficulty and held the two with his hands in their neck. They could feel their bones broken and in constant pain of agony staring at Caelum with burning hatred in their eyes.

"Bastard!! You have no idea what you're doing!! If you kill me then mortals will be unkempt and could lead to disaster!"

The death god who's name is too difficult to write said trying to convince Caelum to convince him since in a way he was right. If someone had the power to resurrect people then it could cause many problems. Unfortunately, Caelum was unfazed by this one bit since he had more understanding of Life and Death than him.

"Yeah. I don't care."

Ankhseram tried to speak but was immediately devoured by Caelum who wanted to obtain his connection to the Fairy tail verse.

Details: The world where dragons and humans are at a fine thread into causing a wide scale war with two factions from those who wish to co-exist and those who are against it. Everything is nothing more than a set up of gods who oversee the world. 

Objective: 

Kill or subdue the gods. Note: God Slayer magic is recommended. 

Reward: Star Armour Technique, Divine God World Tree, Divine Artifact Refiner Knowledge.  

Extra Reward: Random.

Penalty: Impotent for 5 years.  ]
