Chapter 19 - Valour Ceremony

Those who have done a hewbrus action towards Caelum paid the price of fainting without anyone knowing what is the reason for their collapse. Caelum pride did not take lightly their false ridicule towards his action. He was merciful enough to not suppress his [ Dragon Haki ] to not kill them. His bloodline boils when his image is being ruined by a pitiful creature. Caelum knew how arrogant his words were and how petty his actions were but it was also a test for them to see if they are able to at least remain standing to face his [ Dragon Haki ].

Though his standard was so high that no one would be able to withstand his [ Dragon Haki ]. It doesn't not do physical damage rather directly influence their mind and heart that only those who are strong will be able to stand firm before him. Even if that said person is weak physically yet had the mentally to fight till death.

He carefully scanned the whole colosseum to find any new squadron that would like to join his squad. Caelum noticed Asta and yuno had joined in the selection. Everyone showcases their magic and their control over it until one by one they are selected. 

Caelum didn't bother raising his hands for the two since he doesn't give privilege and concentrated on a few individuals to be his lackey. They would fill his squad for the time being selecting around five with interesting magic and skillset. He hardly recalls their names because he is too occupied by synthesizing their magic into his arsenal. 

"You lot will be under me and whatever I said shall be done without question. Additionally, y'all will be family from now on therefore should focus on getting to know each other. Understand!?"

"Yes sir!"

The group shouted while Caelum nodded before opening the spatial tunnel, surprising everyone before gesturing for them to head inside. Caelum glances towards Charlotte who quickly hides her face from embarrassment. He sighed under his mask before entering the portal with his new recruit. 

They quickly settle in the facility giving each of them a separate building than his and let them get to know each other. He went ahead and spent the rest of the evening with his lovers. The next day, Caelum called for his new squad and decided to test their skills.

He readjust their magic accordingly since he had the talent for everything, including teaching and guiding someone. Caelum was easily able to see their weaknesses and fix it rather quickly. 

"You rely too much on flashy magic spells and should focus on control rather than just exploding everything."

They intently listened to his lesson and since Caelum personally picked them because of character and talent hardly heard them complain about anything. He was pleased with the result and let them continue while deciding to spend his own kind of training. 

Caelum needed to mellow down his own contradicting effect of his race and bloodline to avoid conflict. He took quite some time to meditate and gradually lessened the urges before waking up once again to see himself spending the rest of the time with his lovers.

Exactly a week had passed, Caelum was heading his way towards the blue rose who noticed his arrival immediately was charmed by the air he emanated. His enticing racial trait of being [ Transcendent Human ] made it quite to affect women especially those going through puberty. The natural primal urges of the [ Dragon ] bloodline made them wish to have a strong mate and birth strong children for survival. 

Though Caelum suppressed to a certain degree yet the type of world his in was too weak. Regardless, he ignored their gaze and focused on his reason for being there.

"Forgive my intrusion but I must know where Lady Charlotte is?"

"Captain is at her office. May we know the reason for your visit, Captain Caelum?"

"That is confidential but do not worry it would be quick. Now, can you lead me to her?"

They nodded, leading Caelum to their captain while getting caught by the fan club growing from his visit. Though he was young his appearance was no different than a 20 year old or roughly like his old appearances but obviously more charming. Though, he wouldn't exactly say he was bad looking but rather average. 

"Captain!"

"What is it?"

"Captain Caelum had come to visit you."

Charlotte's stern expression instantly changed into full on panic realizing the man that had blossomed her heart had come to visit her. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself and place aside her emotion acting like a proper captain. 

'I-I need to calm down and avoid embarrassing myself like always!'

She told herself wanting to have a proper chat with him ever since the day he had saved her. The scene always replied and gave courage to fight on yet every time she wanted to speak with him become flustered. 

"Come in."

Charlotte called out and observed Caelum step inside with his charismatic face. She still can't believe that his age was nearly half of hers yet was more enticing than any man she comes across. It wasn't usual for a 15 year old to get married as it is the age where one considered an adult. 

"Is there any reason why you are here?"

"Acting cold are we? Well, I just want to have a little chat and I believe it's best if we find a better place to be in."

"Is it urgent? Why don't you just tell me here?"

"Sheeesh."

Caelum was slightly annoyed with her act and acted bolder than before moving closer to her face, surprising Charlotte by his action. She tried to keep herself calm but the way their lips were so close couldn't bear her heart.

"I told you to stop acting and try to be more true to herself. Calm down and let's talk about this."

He moved away, letting herself recompose herself to understand that his action was rather impulsive but without acting bold would not gain the result he wanted. Charlotte straightened up herself and gave a nod while gesturing for him to follow her. They went to a private area outside her home base and the place where in the canon talked about her curse. 

Caelum sat down in front of her and looked at Charlotte fidgeting fingers couldn't help but sighed. He leaned back to his chair before deciding to speak.

"First and foremost, I thank you for taking your time to accept my offer to chat."

"I-It isn't a problem but I'm eager to know why you've called me."

"Well, it's about your magic and why it went on a rampage."

Caelum knew the answer but this was the best way for her to confess. He'll just be honest with her later once she confessed since he dislikes lying and avoids it as much as he could. Charlotte paused for a moment reluctant to tell about it and frankly they hardly knew each other beside her investigation.

Most of what he learns is that he has relationships with 3 women that people know of. She couldn't help but be jealous yet her contradicting tsundere personality held her back from telling him the truth.

"T-That…I should start from the beginning…"

She reluctantly told him everything, unaware of the reason for it and felt compelled to tell him. This was the influence of Caelum as a higher human race than them which makes them prone to trusting him with the addition to his [ Dragon ] bloodline that makes her wish to please him.

Caelum intently listened, having acquired a few things from her. He noticed how she tried avoiding the reason why her curse was lifted.

"Is there a reason why your curse was lifted the moment I came to save you?"

"T-That's because…because…"

'Ah shit, here we go again!'

She grows flustered once again causing Caelum to forcibly use magic to calm her senses and give clarity to ensure that she would be able to properly talk to him. Charlotte suddenly felt her anxiety and became confused while looking at Caelum for answers.

"W-What was that? Did you use magic on me? I feel my mind seems rather calm than before."

"That's right, I don't want you going tsun tsun on me."

"Hmm, what kind of magic do you have? I heard it was both Ice and Fire magic?? No, lightning as well if I remember correctly."

"Trade secret."

"Then while my mind is this clear I'll tell that…."

Charlotte felt her emotion screaming at her but the magic spell kept it at bay and was able to tell her feelings towards Caelum and finally was able to lift a burden from her chest. She waited for Caelum who only softly smiled.

"Is that so? Then I don't mind your company but you must know that I have more than women because I'm a selfish man."

"I know, but that's how I feel about you and couldn't get you out of my heart. However I'm unsure if your other woman would accept me."

"You don't have to worry as long as you girls don't fight all the time. I can't exactly say that 'I love you' but we can get to know each other more that way we can see if that feeling is just infatuation or truly love?"

"Then we shall see how our relationship developed. For now I think you owe me an answer for your magic."

"Hehehe alright, my magic is…"

"CAPTAIN!! Sir Julius had summoned you to his office!"

'According to plan.'

Caelum predicted this would happen, allowing to hide his magic for the time being much to Charlotte's annoyance. He stood up from his chair and moved closer to her before her a quick kiss on lips surprising both Charlotte and her member.

"Let's have a date later. I'll come visit you."

Charlotte was speechless from the ordeal and witnessed her soon to be man vanished into the air. She was confused about what to know when her feelings were exposed to her members and decided to ask her to not tell anyone which she agreed since it was a request from her captain.

The next few days were rather uneventful spending most of his time dating all of her girls including Charlotte who slowly grew closer to him. There was some bickering here and there but overall his woman got along pretty well. Caelum recently took some of his harem for the Valour ceremony.

"This is really something huh, Secre?"

He mentions the bird on top of his head who didn't bother responding and remains on his head. Caelum turns to his hide and looks at Sapphire along with Noelle and Mimosa. Lily visited a local orphanage since she still likes to help the people which he let her be. 

'Hey, Sapphire, Cereza, can you give me a bit of what Origin Palace looks like?'

'If I have to tell you then it would just be gibberish to you. However for the mortal view it would look akin to bisymmetric with numerous interchanging complex polygons yet appear in ways what you see here.'

'Uhm what?'

[ Fufufu in a way, her awareness and comprehension of complex shapes appear to be simple because of her power. ]

'I shouldn't have asked…'

Caelum gains a piece of information about the higher dimensional look yet it raises more questions than expected. He merely shook his head and went towards the ceremony. They were anxious yet with their man beside them only fueled their confidence. 

They arrive where the wizard king was waiting for their arrival while people intently glare at him and Charlotte smiles seeing his face. Caelum was annoyed by their gaze but controlled herself and decided to take action once the wizard king left. He barely listen to what Julius had said and soon arrive at the hall where feast was prepared.

"Yo, Big bro/Caelum!"

Caelum heard the two voices and saw Asta walking towards him along with Leopold beside Fuguleon who wanted to have a little chat with him.
