KLAUS POV
1150 AD
Me and Freya finally had remade the immortality spell that Qetsiyah had made all those years ago. While working on the serum, I had realized that I had never asked Sigr if she would want to live forever as well. She of course did, I give her the choice of taking the upgraded vampire serum or the OG serum which me and Freya where recreating.
Being a brat, she wanted neither. Instead she wanted one that would keep her as pure as wolf as can be. She wanted to be an immortal werewolf basically. Her powers were already strong, so her aging had slowed down massively. We had theorized she would live till at least 250. So she wasn't in a rush.
Freya and I went through my mothers grimoire learning everything that she knew, which was not much apparently, she learned most of the spell from her friend Ayana. We also had my notes to look through on my work of creating serums in the past. Qetsiyah's one was different though, it didn't require the bearer to have any weaknesses, it give you power with seemingly no consequences.
The first immortality spell was the foundation for the other serums so all we theoretically had to do was rework the spell backwards. Which was hell... A solution I had though of was to find Silas and study the cure that was on him. Making the serum take even longer to create. To find Silas we needed to gather up the brotherhood of hunters again, to complete their vampire map leading us to him.
I told Freya of what we needed to do and we headed out looking for possible hunter potential to help us in search for Silas.
Finding someone with hunter potential was fairly simple. Find a courageous man who had been wronged by vampires in the past and let him kill one.
We found our man, learned of his experience with vampires and started to send him free vampire kills, eventually filling out the mark and giving us the location.
Heading to the island was irritating but after spending months at sea, we arrived on land. I spread my senses all across the island, trying to locate where Silas was and being pleased when I found his aura.
"I've found him." I told Freya, who had just awoken from her nap.
"Let's eat first and then we will face him, at full strength." Freya said to Klaus looking at him as if to say 'please go and get me some food.'
"Fine," I said, "Be careful though, there's other people on the island."
"I'll be fine," She replied nonchalant, "I felt them as well, just a bunch of humans."
I give one last look before darting away, turning into my wolf form mid run and chasing down my prey.
I hunted 2 deer's before deciding that was enough for Freya and went on the search for some humans, to sate my own thirsting hunger.
I arrived back after a delightful snack but not before getting changed back into my clothes and dragging the deer, to where Freya had already set up a fire.
"I'm back." I sung, Freya turned around to look at me, pointed and said, "There's Blood still around your mouth."
I dropped the 2 deer's of to the side before wiping the blood of from around my mouth. Freya had luckily set cap up next to some water so i quickly cleaned the blood off, of my face.
Freya went about preparing the food for herself, as I just watched, listening out for any sounds.
"How many was there?" Freya asked, she saw the confusion on my face before elaborating. "The humans."
"Oh, around 10 lunatics that's all. They think Silas is somehow letting them meet their dead relatives." I chuckled at their idiocy.
"How many did you kill?" She asked, no judgement in her voice.
"All of them." I replied, no guilt what so ever, "I was going to keep them alive but they had all been brainwashed by Silas, so I thought it best to put them out of their misery."
Freya nodded her head but didn't say anything else.
The next day come and we set of to Silas's tomb. We was ready for the full strength Silas but we in fact found the pathetic version. He was unable to move, he tried to enter our minds but he hadn't had any where near as much blood to accomplish that.
Freya poked around Silas, expecting this to be just a trick but I told her, "That's the real him sister,"
"But his myths were so legendary." She said in disappointment,
"They always are sister." I replied thinking about my own myths.
I searched around the whole tomb looking for anything of significance but coming up empty handed.
"It's been raided." I told Freya but she wasn't listening, she was still baffled that he was still alive.
"Do you reckon he can be killed?" She asked me
"I don't think so." I said headed back over to Freya, "That's what the cure was for, without the cure he will continue to live forever."
"What if he was to get out, he could be a significant threat." Freya said, looking at her brother now, "He knows that we took the cure and if he ever get's out, he will come looking for us."
"The only way to kill him is to cure him and we aren't going to do that are we." I replied, I touched Silas's mummified body, testing for any movement.
"I've got the cure, let's go." I said to Freya
Freya looked at Silas contemplating but decided to listen to her brother and join him back on land.
I told Freya as we left the tomb, "We can come back another time and deal with him but he isn't important right now."
"Do you reckon Qetsiyah was watching?" Freya asked, being helped up by her brother.
"Probably, what kind of psycho buries someone alive for a thousand years." I replied.
Back on land, we rested since Freya needed it and headed back by boat the next day. Silas stopped trying to enter our minds fairly quickly when I reversed it back on to him, sending him into a nightmare for his effort.
It took around 3 months to get back home. We started to study the cure straight away, not wasting anymore time and a year and a half later we had finally finished the Serum.
Thankfully for Freya's sake ,this serum didn't need the death of the person to activate. We also ended up adding someone else to the spell. Freya had pointed out that while she wouldn't age or be able to be killed, physically she would still be weak so we decided to add the strength of a werewolf to the spell to counter act this problem.
Freya downed the serum after completion. It took a few minutes to kick in but when it did you could tell.
I could sense the power inside of her grow, she had been boosted up power wise all the way to my level. This didn't mean she was stronger, only that in pure magical power she now at my own level, this didn't take into account actual skill and the physical differences between us.
We tested out her limits to her new powers. Mentally she gained the ability to enter minds and all that came with that, her magic had been boosted into Dalhia levels and she can now physically handle a vampire that isn't at the top of the ladder.
