True, Antoni also felt what his wife felt. Regret makes him unworthy of a happy life after treating his eldest daughter so cruelly, with favoritism and other unfair treatment.

No more condescending glances after Shireen escaped from prison, that woman's life is just a bother for her. all the things he wanted she easily got, but for her. Grace has to resort to devious ways, knowing the reality that she has felt alone in this world since she found out that her mate died from being attacked by a mixed-blood rogue group.

"Is the alpha inside?" Grace asked after arriving at the door of Alpha Jeremy's study to the two soldiers standing in front of the door.

Sorry, Luna, Alpha is out to check out the trail that beta Parker just identified.

"Ah, then tell the alpha if I visit my parents' house."

The man carried Shireen's unconscious body in a sling, her face invisible because of the hood she was wearing. Only the lips are visible, the lips that have a vertical line that is enough to make them quickly recognizable.

Shireen's body was soaking wet, she had just fallen from a high gorge and right below her was a rushing river with steep rocks. She hit his head hard, before closing her eyes and letting her body drift into the river before being found by the man.

"Too bad for you son, this fate will trouble you with two strong and weak ties that you will have to choose in the end. Two difficult choices will make one of them lonely friends for the rest of his life, the fate of accepting two mates in life is something the wolf race never wanted. Keep holding on to live, if you don't want to wreak unavoidable havoc..."

And at that very moment, he looked up to reveal his red eyes.

It's nice, but getting inside. Luis found a void, there were only the ashes of the dead fire and Shireen's scent left behind.

His heart was beating fast, his breath was quick, Luis darted around the cave to take a closer look. There were palm residues on each side of the cave, he walked following where the palm prints had gone until he felt a pain in his head.

"Ah!! Argh, damn it! Shireen!!!"

"Arghhh!! Another damn hurt!!"

"Alpha!! What happened?!"

"Call a healer quickly!!" Beta Parker immediately gave orders to the nearby warriors.

That annoying hurt came again, actually what Luis did to make his mate hurt again. That stupid man should take care of his mate, his woman. So as not to make it difficult like now.
