Spacetime warping

"Maddox remembered it because Seven cried so hard the night after he gave him the A. I. Cross didn't know about this, but he knew the name of this two.

" in my previous world Ares was my only friend, he was the son of the boss, but he was different from his family, he was so weak that it was even easy for me, a kid to kill him. However... Ares died when I turn 17 after committing a suicide, the man who push him to do this was Eros."

Eros probably didn't expect Ares who treats life so preciously would do something like taking his own. Well he deserved being left alone in this world, he'd ruined Ares so badly.

He continued explaining "Eros who was the adopted son replaced the old boss and controlled the whole syndicate. He was madly obsessed with Ares to the point that he locked him out of the world taking evebehe held important. In order to get revenge I depicted from the organization. I send the evidence regarding their illegal dealings to the government and change my identity. But shortly after my so called freedom, at the age of 18, someone came to hunt me down that's when I countered a black hole, when I opened my eyes I was reborn in this world" he lengthy explained, if it weren't for Calyx then he may have had the chance to live more normally. Unfortunately that man was crazy, he didn't want any of his possessions to slip by his grip.

Seven didn't know why he was scared of him nor does he want to remember his face, he wasn't even sure if he was also reborn. He didn't dared to search any information about him on the star net. He could only pray that he's still in the ninth level of hell.

"Seven its fine now, those people won't be able to hurt you again." he said and hug Seven, he didn't expect to hear such heartbreaking secrets. No wonder he's so reluctant to be put in an orphanage and would rather risk his life inside the military.

"you don't have to shoulder everything now, where here now, will protect you" Cross reassured him, he didn't believe it at first, but the more he listened the more he felt that this wasn't just an illusion that Seven created. He wouldn't be able to explain such vivid scenario without fully experiencing it.

"I kill so many people in my life, I don't think I deserve you guy at all" he said, his tears began to fall from his eyes, Maddox immediately wipe them away, he held his face softly.

"Seven that was beyond your control, you were left with no choice, it was their fault"

That night Seven was able to sleep more peacefully, being able to share his inner demons made him feel more free. He said his goodnight to the two and for the first time he called out" Dad take you for accepting me" he told Maddox who was tucking him to bed.

"silly, will always accept you no matter what.." he said and kiss the top of his head.

"goodnight Seven" Seven tried to fight back his sleepiness but he was so tired, his mental energy still hasn't stabilize after the break through and would need more sleep to allow his body to adjust.

Maddox close the door, he then went back to the leaving room and saw Cross looking at his light brain. He went to sit beside him.

"what are you doing" he ask, Cross in large the screen and he saw familiar faces on it. The two people were Ares and Eros. Anything related to them were pasted on the screen.

"I'm trying to look at this two" he answers and compiled all the information that would connect them to Seven.

"are you doubting Seven" Maddox didn't know if Cross believed it but he as a scientist had learned so many unexplainable things in the world. In Seven situation, this might be explained by space and time warp.

"I'm not, I just wanted to make sure that this two weren't like Seven who had remembered the past. Who knows what would happen to Seven if that was the case" he didn't want to make Seven experience it again.

"that's great then, this way I don't have to explain the theory about this to you"

"you have an explanation of why this happened" Cross looked at him, surprised was written on his face. This was expected since unlike him, Cross barely had any knowledge about four dimensional spacetime warping.

"do you know worm holes right, well this theory is quite similar to what seven experienced. In the empire we use worm hole to bypass space and shorten travel time to arrive at a fix point the shuttle has coordinated. But for Seven's case, the black hole which was his ability, this now created a loop to locate another version of him in a different dimension, maybe to save him from danger, no one knows. The memories remained thanks to his spiritual energy that had protected him when crossing dimensions." Maddox wasn't sure about this theory, but it was the closest he could think of.

People couldn't easily enter this without protection, for them to cross a worm hole, the shuttle or battleship they used must have high resistance to the corrosive effects of the worm hole, that's why it was only advisable to use it two to three time a day to not break the shuttle.

" this theory also implies that in a different dimension, similar to ours, there is an alternate version of yourself, that version might be the same replica or the opposites" this theory wasn't proven but scientists like them like this study. Many had tried to make a time machine but no matter how advanced their technology is, they still fail to do it. He also tried it once but gave up after seeing how many time he exploded the machine.

"did that mean that in Seven's previous world, we might have existed" Maddox didn't want to answer yes because if he did, Cross might have blamed his alternate self for not finding Seven and helping him.

"well there is a possibility but you know that chance for you to met in that world would be 0.0001 %" despite how much he tries to make it sound better, Cross still felt distress. He hug him and patted his back.

"it's fine now, we're here for Seven, will protect him this time" he said and kiss his cheeks. Cross nuzzle on the crook of hi neck.

"yeah"

Minutes later they heard a ring from his terminal, indicating that the compilation was finished. They checked the information and there wasn't anything suspicious.

"hey look at this" Maddox said and click the image of Ares and Eros in an accident 10 years ago and the date was on Seven's birthdate.

They look back at each other and thought of the connections the three had. They first focus on Ares, Cross knew him more than Maddox since he was the son of Marshall Litch, the commanding officer of the 2nd army. But he resigned from his position in order to stabilize the condition of his wife who just lost his son.

"I know this kid, he was really kind and was really talented in music, one of the officers in our fleet suffered mania after his mental power was damaged but he was able to stop it. Though I don't think he remembers his past since he didn't seem bothered interacting with Eros. They also own a restaurant but the food didn't seem to resembles those of Seven" after looking at his profile they switched to Eros.

Just like Ares, he didn't show any sign of remembering his past. Everyone knew who Eros was, this young man was a genius business man. He invented starnet and Virtual networks, sold thousands of virtual cabin all over the alliance. He was cunning but he didn't seem twisted like the Eros from Seven's past.

"I don't think he also remembers, if he did he might have turn the food industry down, you know how his trying to get into the food business right, but this industry was quite difficult even for him" Eros wouldn't miss any business opportunities so if he can remember his past, he would surely recreate them and pursue Ares.

"at least with this we can be assured that they had no connection and the accident during his birth may really be just a coincidence" Cross turn off his

"I guessed you're right, anyway if they were to remember, Ares is missing and Eros can't easily cause trouble with us" Maddox rested his head on his shoulders. He mind and heart finally relax.

Cross wrapped his arm on his waist and pulled him even closer. He turn his head and kiss the top of his head. Minutes later they heard footstep, they looked back and saw Seven rubbing his eyes and carried a pillow on his other hands.

"come join us" they called and Seven directly went beside Maddox and rested on his sleep, second just passed and he was already asleep. The two chuckled and softly caress his hair. Maddox might have contacted Seven's sleepiness had drowsy eyes. He didn't noticed that the moment he leaned in Cross shoulders once again, he had already fallen asleep.

"well this isn't bad" Cross said and order his Thames(A. I) to switch the light to sleep mode.
