Lily looked at Matthew while frowning. "Why are you suddenly acting weird like this?"

"What is weird? I don't think there's anything strange about my attitude," said Matthew.

"Oh, come on. You think I didn't notice your cynical attitude since I received a message from Ryan?" Lily said.

Matthew looked at Lily as he took a deep breath. Then he rolled his eyes and chuckled softly. "Do you think it's normal when you walk with a guy and text another guy? Do you think that's reasonable?"

"I don't think it's something to exaggerate. Besides, I already told you that Ryan and I are just friends," Lily answered.

"Are you sure you don't have feelings for him?" Matthew asked, glaring at Lily.

Lily was silent for a moment. She then took a deep breath. "You know, your jealousy impressed me."

"You take me like a joke?" said Matthew.
