New Genosha Part 2

Genosha, Hammer Bay

Alex Wayne POV

I'm currently in the Genosha Council meeting room sorting out some issues with the management team.

"Mr. Governor, we are advancing very well with the improvement of economic stability, but for a period of 4 years it will remain the same and we will not see profits" the head of management said.

I am concerned about that, the profits of this country came from the exploitation of mutants, since they were used as slaves and did not receive a salary.

While I was deep in thought, Wanda walks into the meeting room.

"Alex someone has come to see you" Wanda said with a strange look.

Noticing her look, I ask her:

"Who?"

"My father, Magneto" Wanda said.

I'm surprised, since I really didn't expect him to come.

Excusing myself for a moment, I leave the meeting room to see Magneto.

He was already waiting for us, I look at him and ask:

"What do you want Magneto?"

"You really did keep your promise to those kids... you know, after our fight almost two years ago and getting that look from the kids, I understood a lot of things"

Not knowing what the hell Magneto has been smoking, I don't interrupt him.

"That's why I'm here, when I found out what you did here, I know that this is a very good opportunity for mutants to have a home. And I want to give you a hand" Magneto said.

"So you said all that nonsense just to say that you want to join us, father" Wanda said.

Magneto grits his teeth at the shitty grin on my face at Wanda's words.

I don't need to think about it too much, since Magneto is a very good shield for Genosha.

It might cause some problems due to his past actions, but they are easy to solve.

Holding out my hand in his direction, I say:

"Welcome aboard, Magneto"

With a handshake Magneto joined the Genosha Council.

The mutants didn't complain when Magneto joined the Council since they knew his power level.

Instead, they celebrated his union, because they knew he was a mutant who protects his own.

Thus, things in Genosha began to calm down and people waited expectantly for future changes in Genosha.

For my part, I was receiving a visit from some friends.

The ones who had come to see me were two SHIELD agents and a current Avenger.

Sharon Carter and Barbara Morse. (SHIELD)

Natasha Romanoff. (Avengers)

I suppose this conversation will be interesting.

Since Wanda, Polaris, Psylocke and Emma, who accompany me, do not stop looking at me.
