Welcome Party

Seeing nothing only but two sole figures at the bridge, Maximilian and his company were greeted by Nolan and Abbadon.

Ashira: [Your compatriots have a warm welcome, considering how they did that literally in the city.]

Ashira referred to how Abbadon set the northern part of the city on fire, chuckling right after attempting to jest within their circle.

No one didn't laugh at it, seeing as how that was not something they'd be able to.

Maximilian unboarded the car as it stopped, facing Abbadon and Nolan.

Nolan: [I thought that we were going to expect you about a few days later?]

Maximilian: [Change of plans, the councilors found something of interest in my city. I'm not letting them get it.]

As if talking like it was an object, Maximilian looked at the carriage where that same object he was talking about was.

Maybe it was just his way of addressing them as they were practically in his debt, seeing them as nothing but incentives for his arrival here.
