Chapter 401: Accidental Kiss

Charlotte Cooper was seriously dealing with the company's affairs, but some of the tasks were particularly tricky for her. However, she was determined to find a way to overcome them, as she wanted to become independent in the future.

When she realized it was already dark outside, Henry Russell became a bit anxious, but knowing that Charlotte was handling company matters, he refrained from interfering and continued to wait.

By 11 pm, Henry's face grew darker and he grew increasingly restless, pacing back and forth in the living room. Not long after, he dialed Ethan Carter's number.

Ethan rushed to answer the call, knowing how ill-tempered Henry could be.

"Hello!"

Upon hearing Henry's deep tone, Ethan knew that he was probably angry again and became extra cautious, fearing he'd be caught in the line of fire, even though he couldn't think of anything stupid he'd done recently.

Suppressing his anger, Henry asked, "Is the company that busy? Does Charlotte need to work so late?"
