Second Thoughts

Archer's POV

It felt surreal that she was in my house, and she cooked me breakfast, and I wanted to ignore the old feeling that started to resurface, and I couldn't stop myself from remembering the past when we were still living together as roommates and right now, it feels like the old time.

I remember every time I woke up in the morning; I could smell the aroma of food in our flat, and I loved watching Ella swaying her hips as she cooked and listened to her favorite music in the morning while I was lying on my bed smiling like an idiot, as I know that time I was beginning to fall for her. I wondered if she still does the same thing every time she cooks.

I couldn't stop myself from staring at her lovely face as I ate my meal, and I could tell her mind was elsewhere since she spaced out. I didn't want to disturb her, but I needed to be in my office earlier than necessary, and I only had a little time to spare since I woke up very late.
