Chapter 70

The celebration on Zakuul has been over for a few weeks now and everybody lives returned back to normal as the people went back to the work.

But now a new problem has arisen on the planet. 

Refugees from the war has been fleeing to Zakuul since it is part of the Terran Ascendency and is well protected from any invasion.

Ever since helping out House Kryze there have been an increase in ship's around the planet numbering 90 in all with majority of them being dreadnaughts.

The sheer number of dreadnaughts that the Terran Ascendency had made other faction's such as the CIS not even consider attacking the planet.

Plus besides the dreadnaughts there are many orbital defense gun's above the planet to protect it from any invasion.

Alexander had invested a lot of resources into the defense of the planet since it is the only known Planet under his Empire.

He planned to change that soon so that Zakuul won't start experiencing economic problems from the mass influx of refugee's.

Alexander wasn't worried about the defense of the planet's since he had a lot more ship's than just the 90 at Zakuul.

In fact that number of ship's wasn't even 10% of the amount that he had. His other ship's were either used for defense of his planet's in the Unknown region's, or for exploring the unknown region's.

Clone Admiral's were trained by going on expedition's to the Unknown region's for a period of 6-8 months. The same were for the Droid Admiral's since from actually experiencing battle could the AI enhance their abilities when in a real situation.

A Plan was already drafted up by the High ranking military member's in the chain of command in case Zakuul was attacked.

It involved first sending relief forces to the planet to coordinate with the Government of Zakuul and ensure the civilian's safety.

The second part was to also at the same time send a fleet to attack the territory of the aggressor. It was a plan that would conduct both defensive and offensive operation's in order to cause the enemy to lose a lot of resources just attacking one single planet.

So no matter what happened Zakuul and any other planet's or territories of the Terran Ascendency would be well protected.

Now back to the problem at hand. Mandalore which is starting to become united by House Kryze is in the process of forming their own Government.

And while she was young she was still smart so she took advantage of the situation that Mandalore was in and formed the Mandalorian Council which would be led by her.

Under her would be the various minister's of the Government, these position's would be occupied by the other Clan's and houses.

The Leader's of these Clan's and houses had lived for more years than Duchess Satine had, so she wanted them with their years of experience to be on the Council.

She would be at the top of the Government retaining her current title as Duchess while below her will be the Prime Minister, then the other Minister's.

It took almost a Month but after it was over all position's in the Government was filled with capable people looking for a brighter future for the Mandalorian people.

Duchess Satine and her Sister Bo-Katan were both considered high ranking people in the Government since Duchess Satine was the Leader of the Government and Bo-Katan held a high ranking military position in charge of protected Duchess Satine.

Once the Government was established those houses and clan's that joined the enemy were put on trial in front of the Mandalorian people and given a somewhat fair trial.

Most houses and Clan's were just let off with the Government seizing some of their assets and having the pledge loyalty to the new Government. While some were even banished for what they had done during the war.

Duchess Satine wanted to preserve the life of all Mandalorian's because they had lost almost 800k people due to the war, and she didn't want to lose much more.

Once the trial's were over after 2 weeks that's when the Terran Ascendency had sent people and equipment over to help with the reconstruction of the planet's infrastructure.

Many houses, and cities were damaged from thew war leaving thousands without homes. But luckily Duchess Satine had a powerful ally called the Terran Ascendency who helped them out during this time.

As a result the council had agreed to sign a ton of agreement's with the Terran Ascendency allowing their fleet to stay in orbit and protect the planet.

But something's needed a face to face so Alexander was heading over to Mandalore to talk about a potential construction project with Duchess Satine, but to also meet her since apparently she was dying to meet him face to face.

He didn't understand why, but since he wasn't busy he agreed anyways. Their were a few people who new exactly why since they had been around her and seen her reaction's when she was talking to Alexander over a Hologram.

It was like she was a new person in the face of some. Her sister Bo-Katan wanted to know who got her sister so excited and was also eager to meet with this Alexander that she keep's on hearing about.

That was how things were going on Mandalore as things began to calm down and the planet entered a state of rebuilding.

Meanwhile the War between the CIS and the Republic had continued to rage as more systems from the outer rim's began to join the CIS.

A few planet's had also turned to the side of the Empire through peaceful mean's, or so they say but the Chancellor for the Republic knew that something was going on the background and he needed to get control of the siltation before it get's out of hand.
