(Cause I was fucking bored)

Bean ran around the corner until he reached the agreed-upon meeting location. He was the slowest out of all the others due to his small size but he couldn't help that.

'Hmm. I need to see if one of these scientists can turn me into a bigger dog. But then I can't cuddle with Jack. Maybe I need a power where I can shift between my current self and a bigger dog. Or even a wolf. That would be awesome.'

Bean imagined his life as a larger dog when he arrived. And just as he had expected, he was the last one to arrive. Besides him, the other 3 members had arrived.

The first was a frog that had armor and carried a hammer. This was Throg. He was a frog with the powers of Thor. To a much weaker degree.

Then there was Redwing. He was a falcon that was the partner to The Falcon. Redwing possessed a telepathic bond with his partner and could speak directly with him.

Finally was their leader, Goose. He was a Flerken. They were an alien species that had a pocket dimension in their stomach and were the reason the Japanese loved tentacles so much in the 80s and 90s. They also looked like cats to the untrained eye.

Each of them was great on their own but after Bean arrived, they were finally able to communicate with one another due to his telepathy.

{Sorry, I'm late guys!} Bean apologized immediately

{It is fine. We should have sent Redwing or Throg to pick you up. We all know about your small legs.} Goose replied.

{Now that we have all gathered, I would like to announce the first meeting of the Pet Avengers. We have joined together for a single purpose. To make sure that our owners and homes are protected while they are out and about playing hero.} Goose began his speech

{Hmm. It is sad that they are so foolish as to leave their homes alone for so long. We must make sure that they are safe} Redwing agreed

{Tis the truth. Let us slay any foe that dares to invade our homes. They shall dine with Hella if they wish to try us.} Throg agreed

{Should we let our owners know?} Bean asked curiously. He was the youngest and least experienced of the Pet Avengers

{Nay. They shall be too worried even though we are so mighty! Let them have their peace. On the day they must know, we shall let them know then!} Throg immediately rejected the idea

Redwing and Goose agreed with him. With all 3 of the other members agreeing, Bean no longer tried to bring it up. He was eager to learn from them and be the best hero pet he could be.

Unknown to all the heroes in the tower, the first meeting of the Pet Avengers ended before the true Avengers had even officially assembled. Some would say that the animals had their shit together more than the humans/gods/Atlanteans.
