Ch 64 – Hunting Monsters

Inside a shop full of weapons and armor, Rintarou could be seen looking around wearing a white shirt and black pants that have that isekai fantasy feel to it that is hard to describe with words alone.

While looking at the rows of swords laid upon a wall, I scratch my chin trying to find the perfect sword for me, preferably something long so I could write more words on it and put more enchantments, but in the end, I could just overlay the words with each other.

After looking around, I found a fine-looking sword and I knew that it was of high quality from visuals alone, so with a grin, I grabbed the hilt with my right hand and felt that it was light as a feather due to my enchanted clothes and swung it around and found how great it felt and decided that it is the one for me.

After deciding that it is the sword for me, I went towards the counter where a big muscular man was standing with a grin, looking at me with a satisfied smile.

"You like the sword? Made it myself" said the man with a proud smile as I handed him the sword.

"Yeah, it's quite the fine sword if I do say so myself," I said with a grin as the man chuckled with pride.

"Thank you thank you, the sword will be 5 gold," said the man as I nodded and knew the price was fair with how good it was and took out 5 gold coins from my pocket and gave it towards the man.

"Mmm, have fun with your sword," said the man as he gave me the sword while taking away the five gold coins.

"Goodbye," I said towards the man as I walked out of the shop and onto the wide-open street of the royal capital and looked around the crowded street full of people wearing armor and robes.

"Well, I guess it's high time to hunt some monsters and rank up for some income," I said and walked towards the exit of the Royal Capital.

"Hello," I said towards the two guards holding silver spears keeping the gate safe.

"So you're going to hunt some monsters I see, you adventurers keep the capital safe so I must say my thanks," said one of the guards as I chuckled and shook hands with him.

"Well go on now, we don't want to keep a hero like you inside the capital," said the other guard as I walked out of the capital and went towards the wide-open field outside the Royal Capital.

Hmm, it seems like my Charisma is taking its effect with the guards back then, well I don't have any way to rank it up right now so it's quite sad, but this level should be enough.

As I looked around the grand open field of grass with ponds and lakes, I cast a spell on my eyes that enhances my vision to be able to see hundreds of meters away along with heat vision to see the monsters far away from me.

Ooh, an Orc surrounded by hobgoblins and goblins?

As I looked at the horde of heat signatures in the distance, I remembered that an Orc is a C rank monster and that should net me a few gold coins if I keep the body intact.

So with a manic grin, I rapidly wrote down words on the hilt of my sword with my mana as it became enchanted with tons of broken abilities while the words vanish from visible view.

And with those enchantments done, I crouch down on the ground and felt my muscles rapidly getting stronger not only from the enchantments in my clothes but also with my mana, and with one deep breath, I took off into a large jump that cave in the ground I was standing on and flew high above the air.

And as the wind hit against my face, I looked down towards the ground and saw the Goblin group in the distance rapidly approaching and with a smirk, I gathered the mana inside me, and slowly, electricity gathered at the palm of my hand and as I shifted my weight so that I fall to the ground, the goblins, hobgoblins, and Orcs looked upwards to see a shining yellow blur fall to the middle of their encampment and with one swift release, the electricity discharge out of my body, paralyzing the monsters in an instance.

But I didn't stop there, with winds gathering on top of all the paralyzed monsters around me, I release blades of winds to chop off their head and felt tons of exp gathering inside my body and saw that my level has risen rapidly.

"Level 12, hmm, I'll just put my self-made cheats in the back of my mind" I muttered and looked at the beheaded bodies of the monsters I have slain.

"Hmm, fuck it, I will allow myself to have a storage space" I muttered and with that, all of the beheaded bodies floated towards a void black portal besides me and felt my endless space being filled with monsters.

"Phew, levels really do make a difference" I muttered while punching the ground and saw it caving in with ease and chuckled at how ridiculous the enchantments made the difference between one level and wondered how op Louis actually is and how op the others are.

And with my job here being done, I jumped towards the air with one simple kick to the ground and activated both Heat Vision and Enhance Vision to hunt more monsters.

(A Few Minutes Later)]

"Ooh, an Ogre? A B rank monster, finally" I muttered while high above the air and saw a gigantic muscular ogre in the far distance running towards a group of adventurers who seems to be struggling against it, so with a magnanimous smile, I flew downwards towards the unsuspecting Ogre and with one swift blow, I felt my blade cutting through the neck like butter and landed on the ground with a simple thud.

As the group of adventurers looked at the Ogre in surprise, they watch a line being made on its neck as its head fell down to the ground while a fountain of blood appeared behind me.

"You guys are welcome," I said towards the group of adventurers while covering my face with mana.

"W- who are you? Killing an Ogre with one hit, you should be an S rank adventurer?" asked the big muscular man wearing silver armor.

"Y- yeah! Are you someone famous?" asked the girl wearing red mage robes and a red wizard hat holding a wooden staff with a red gem on top of the staff.

"Hmm… you could call me… Kaleido" I said while grabbing the severed head of the ogre and putting it inside my storage space and walking towards the beheaded body next.

And with that, I stored the body inside my storage space just like the head and flew out of the scene with one swift kick to the ground leaving the group of adventurers with gaping mouths of shock.

Haha, the legend of Kaleido is now spreading to other worlds, with a grin, I flew back to the capital and put my rank up to B with the proof being the Ogre head that I have inside my storage space.

After greeting the guards on my way, I put the giant head inside a sack back in my house so that they don't get suspicious on my storage space and walked towards the Adventurer's Guild with a smile inside my new mask that I made with the help of magic, it's just literally a piece of cloth enchanted with my cheat so it's more durable than diamond and also acts like metal.

After entering the guild, I walked towards the receptionist with a smile and put the sack on the counter.

"What may I help you with today," said the lady with a smile.

"I would want to rank up please," I said while letting her see what was inside and chuckled as her face morphed into one full of shock.

"Y- you hunted this all by y- yourself?" asked the lady with a hushed voice.

"Mmm," I said with a nonchalant nod as the girl hurriedly went upstairs leaving me alone there looking around the guild.

After a while, the lady came back with a giant muscular man with short black spiky hair and a body full of scars who looked at me with a grin.

"Hello there, mister?" asked the man.

"Kaleido," I said with a monotone voice as I started to unconsciously make another new persona.

"Kaleido, it seems like you were able to hunt an Ogre all by yourself," said the man with a cheeky grin.

"If you want me to be under you, I'm sorry to say but I'll just be traveling around the world all by myself," I said with a cold voice.

"Sigh, fine, I'll make you rank A because hunting an Ogre all alone is no easy feat," said the man that was actually the Guild Master of all Adventurer Guilds in the world and his legend was quite… legendary in simple terms, hunting dragons, slaying Leviathans and more, he's one of the strongest around the world just below those nine reincarnates with their broken cheats.

"Thank you," I said with a nod while giving my card to the receptionist as she quickly updated my rank and gave me a new Golden Badge.

"You're welcome," said the Guild Master with a wide smile while I just walked out of the guild without a word.

(Guild Master POV)]

"… He's dangerous, I could feel that he's not telling the whole story with that Ogre, I can see that he's using a high-quality sword but I don't see any traces of him wearing an armor," said Guild Master as he gained the intuition if someone used to wear armor or not, and he knew that the Kaleido fella definitely doesn't wear armor with how his body naturally moves.

"Try to not offend him in any way, we don't want to accidentally piss off an unknown individual," said the Guild Master as he went back upstairs leaving the receptionist alone and confused.
