CHAPTER 42: Questions

Again silence reigned and this time Ashen didn't seem like he intended to make any move to break it as he also stood silently waiting for anyone else to speak, while paying attention to the cave walls and going through all the spells he knew in his inventory which apart from some fire and wind spells excluding the mundane ones such as spells for lighting up a room, straightening up his clothes, turning his food hot or cold and a few others, he couldn't think of one that could help him dig a hole back to the first floor.

"Green?" He suddenly asked out of the blue, drawing Green's wandering attention back to himself before he continued speaking.

"What floor do you think we're on right now? Ashen asked, fully expecting to hear what Green had to say, since knowing him, he wouldn't shy away from speaking his mind, especially when asked.
