1 year later...

it's been a year since I came to train with Uncle Fugaku. a lot has happened since then, but something telling me a lot more is about to happen.

Anyway, as I was saying a lot has happened, there are rumours that another shinobi war is starting, I hope that's not true konoha still hasn't recovered since the previous two wars, come to think of it none of the other villages have recovered from the previous wars, Also I'm going to be entering the academy next week and so is kakashi, I wonder how he's doing Hmph; I bet he's been getting stronger. I haven't seen him in a couple weeks.

I'm guessing we'll see each other during the academy. Then I can showoff my new abilities to Kakashi, but after that I'm going to be leaving uncle Fugaku soon. sigh.

"So what are you thinking about, Ryuu? You look stressed." Fugaku said with a smile. "Nothing much. I'm just thinking about the war and stuff." This surprised Fugaku. What happened after shocked me even more? "Hahaha", He-he laughed!!! I was so shocked I thought I was in a genjutsu.

"I'm sorry Ryuu, but I couldn't shake the fact that a kid your age is thinking about war. I guess this shouldn't surprise me if it's you. Even so, you're supposed to be excited about the academy next week." He said as he wiped so tears off his face. "You're right and even if there is a war, we're gonna kick any village that tries to attack us in the butt." He nodded and smile.

"Anyway, I just came back and what perfect timing Mikoto has just finished preparing food, so let's go back inside." Ryuu nodded and left to go inside. Oh, and that's right, Uncle has finally found someone else in his life now. This won't make me feel guilty about him being alone when I leave. Of course, this is also great because she's a splendid cook, much better than Uncle.

"Thanks for the food!" I said before devouring the enchanting meal that's in front of me. After eating for a while, I went back to my room and opened the book given to me by my parents. I discovered some secrets about the book. I found an entire chapter based on all kinds of jutsu my parents made and copied some.

"I've just mastered fire style. Maybe I should move onto lightning style." I whispered to myself. "Yeah, that would be useful for you." A voice came from behind me. "Kakashi!" He snuck in! "How'd you sneak in?" I asked. "Oh no, I didn't sneak in. They let in me, but I just wanted to surprise you." He said as he was scratching his head, smiling. sigh What's with him and trying to give me a heart attack. "Anyway Kakashi I'm going to learn a lightning style jutsu I'm thinking black lightning, also where have you been I haven't seen you in weeks is something going on?" He shook his head. "No, no, nothing is wrong. I was just training a little extra hard, that's all." He said as he gave a nervous smile.

I could see something was wrong with him, but I didn't pressure him. "Kakashi, if anything wrong you font have to tell me but just know I have your back no matter what." He nodded. "Anyway, you should probably try learning that jutsu. It could come in handy. After all, there's a war coming." There was a drop in his tone right before he finished, so I'm guessing that his problem probably lies within that topic.

"So it's confirmed that another war has begun." Kakashi nodded.

"That can only mean one thing. We just have to get stronger." Kakashi looked at me curiously but full of excitement."You're right. We just have to get stronger than. Ever, we can't fight for the people we love if we're weak."I nodded in agreement."That's right, but till then I'll try learn this jutsu, for now let's prepare for the academy. Goodbye Kakashi, tell father I said hi. Well, technically you don't have to. I'm coming back soon." He nodded and left through the door this time.

A week passed...

Today is the day. It's a great day. I'm going to start the academy but I'm also going to leave Uncle Fugaku. Ryuu frowned, thinking about how he's going to have to leave his home where he was for a year, anyway time to get ready.

After getting ready and sealing everything, I went to have breakfast. "Huh, you're already here?" Mikoto nodded and smiled. "I woke up early and make you some breakfast, since you're leaving." Ryuu was Sad and yet happy. "Thank you, you're so kind, please take care of uncle. I know you'll both be fine as long as you're with each other." Suddenly Mikoto stopped what she was doing."Than you Ryuu, I'm going to miss you."

"I'll miss you too. Take care." I left the house on my way to the academy, today I left earlier so that I can wake up a friend of mine.

"Knock knock knock" That's weird. No one's home, but considering who's opening the door, I kind of expected this. The door finally opened. "Oh, hi Ryuu, you're here to wake him up?" an old woman opened the door for him.

I nodded, "Well then come in, oh and try not to be so rough on him." As soon as she said that, I walked in, going straight to his bedroom."Hey obito get up it's time to go." I shook him as light as I could.

"Ryuu, what do you want? It's too late to wake up on a night like this can't I get some sleep." Hmph figures he probably doesn't even know what day or time it is. "Get out of your bed let's go, today is the first day of the academy and I don't want to look bad being friends with a loser who can't even make it in time." That should provoke him enough to get up. "WAIT WHAT, IM NOT A LOSER!" He said as he jumped from his bed.

"Sure thing." I said nonchalantly as I left the room. While I waited for obito I walked around his house. Huh, his goggles are here. He might have dropped them. I'll carry them for him.

I've never been here that long. I'm usually here just to get obito on my way to either training or to go meet up with kakashi. After a while, Ryuu went to check on Obito. "Hey Obito, what gives? Let's go already." I can't wait any longer, "Calm down Ryuu. I'm ready I'm just looking for my goggles."

"Obito you moron, you dropped them out here now. Let's go already!" Sigh, I knew it. He opened the door and came out, scratching his head with an awkward smile."Oh, sorry about that. I must've lost them yesterday, anyway let's go." I handed them back to him and we left.
