"So, what will it be?"

After that question, Alexander kept staring into the bargainer's eyes with his arms crossed. He didn't look willing to accept the offer at all.

Soon, Alexander sighed. "Why did you ask me if you still have to bargain with me? Will your only bargain be to say that we don't stand a chance to win this?" he asked.

The bargainer gave him a slight nod. "I assume that's obvious for everyone here," he said before showing a smirk. "Look at your men. You can see in their faces that they don't want to fight anymore," the man said in a taunting way.

Alexander didn't even bother to look behind at his men, however, he knew that was partially true. He wasn't dumb, and much less inexperienced.

He knew that when the situation in a war start getting hard, there will always be people wanting to surrender.
