Reunions of the past

Erin was simply enjoying the cookies that Andrei made from scratch. When he suddenly bit his tongue. 

"Are you alright?" Reese sounded worried. 

"I think someone's cursing me," he said in a joking manner.

Both Andrei and Reese started to exchange knowing glances. 

"Hey, I know what you two are thinking. Stop it," the pair laughed as though they were caught trying to play a trick on him. But instead of joining them, his reaction turned gloomy. "I know he has every right to curse me. And I can't blame him,"

"Hey, that's not what we meant," Reese wanted to console him. But it was already too late. 

He began to sob almost immediately. Like the feelings he kept bottled up for so long, just started bursting out. And he can't get a hold of it.

"I miss him, I miss him so much," he said crying in Reese's arms. 

Andrei who was watching them felt guilty for Erin's misery.
