Earth Sweet Earth?

First I started by looking deep inside me wait wrong phrasing. *Ahem* First I started by focusing deep inside myself looking for the energy that inhabits every living and non-living thing in this world, ki. It took a bit of focus but eventually I felt something inside of. *Sigh* is there any way to explain this without making it sound sexual? Why am I talking to myself in the first place? Looks like ROB was right the void really did mess me up real ba-. you know what I don't even care at this point.

As I was saying it took a bit of effort but I finally felt something flowing deep inside me. It was a gentle flow but gave the feeling that it can turn into a raging storm at any moment. After focusing on it for another hour or so I finally received a message from my system saying [Ki Sense acquired].

[Ki Sense Lvl 1] Allows the host to sense host's ki and the ki of others.

Wait.....I don't remember being able to sense the ki of others, I just learnt how to sense my own ki and now I'm able to sense the ki of other beings as well? Does this mean that this system can grant me additional abilities? That's OP. Searching Kakarot's pod by his ki I found that his pod is right next to mine. His ki is pitifully weak compared to mine. Then I focused on the ki of the other Saiyans and they were around the same level as me but a single person's ki far outmatched the ki of everyone in this chamber combined. That must be Broly if I'm not wrong and ROBdamn his ki is like someone placed a fucking sun right in front of your face.

But I was not discouraged by looking at his ki because I also have the potential to grow just as strong in no time at all. But still he's so fucking lucky because he doesn't need to grind like me. Now that I've got ki sense out of the way it's time to learn ki manipulation. Unlike Ki sense Ki manipulation came to me as easy as breathing which I suspect is because of the Saiyans natural affinity towards ki manipulation. I circulated the ki all around my body to get a better feel of it so I can call upon it in an instant. I also tried directing a chunk of my ki to my fist in order to reinforce it like armament haki and while I did feel something I'm not sure if it worked as well as I wanted it to because I can't do much in this pod so nothing to test my ki enhancement on. After a few more circulations I finally see the system's notification saying [Ki Manipulation acquired].

[Ki Manipulation] allows host to use ki, the energy that permeates every living and non-living being in this world. Host can use ki both externally and internally (the former being more taxing than the latter), to form constructs made of ki, body reinforcement and heal others.

With Ki Manipulation in the bag all I gotta do now is rinse and repeat for a year and then I'll hopefully be able to get to Earth.

[One year later]

Seeing Bardock coming towards us I knew that Planet Vegeta is nearing it's end. Bardock came to visit me and Kakarot a few times in the past and he just silently stood there watching over us with a small smile. Gine however came to visit us almost every single day and kept talking about how her day went. It was kind of sweet to be honest. While I reminiscing about the past year Bardock had picked up both my and Kakarot's pod and took us to a single space pod with Gine standing beside it.

Gine seeing Bardock carrying two pods ask him "Will this pod fit the both of them?" to which Bardock replies "Yeah I asked a friend of mine to make some changes to the pod so now it is able to fit both Cain and Kakarot". Gine hearing this breathed a sigh of relief and then asked Bardock in a sad tone "Are you sure Frieza is going to betray us? I don't want to leave my babies on some godforsaken planet with no one to guide them" Hearing this Bardock hugged his wife in a rare act of affection and whispered "I also don't want to do that but I rather my sons face some hardships than be wiped from the face of this planet and besides if all of this is a false alarm we can always go and bring them back can't we?" Gine replied "Yeah" in a soft tone and then Bardock pulled away from Gine taking me and Kakarot out of our incubation pods and placing us in the space pod. After doing this Bardock said "Set course to planet Aranda". Hearing this I was shocked because this isn't how things are supposed to go. What happened to sending us to Earth? Wait Bardock sent Kakarot to Earth because his power level was too low to survive on another hostile planet but with me by his side Bardock felt sure enough to send us to another with a possibly higher power level than Earth and they expect me to protect Kakarot.

Sure enough as the pod's engine ignited and it prepared for launch I heard Gine say "Be strong my sons, mom and dad will come to get you when all this is over" with Bardock following behind her saying "Cain protect your little brother but don't baby him. Let him grow up to be his own person instead of making him live in your shadow".

*Sigh* this is too emotional to my liking but I mentally promised to protect Kakarot because the brat had grown on me even though he just kept floating in his pod and despite his constant crying I never grew annoyed by it which I chucked up to Gamer's Mind.

As the pod flew off into the far reaches of space I saw a purple mass of ki growing bigger and bigger until it dwarfed planet Vegeta in size and then it shot off towards planet Vegeta which offered little to no resistance as it was consumed by the purple sphere of ki.
