Song Yu Han thought of Ran Xueyi's grandparents. According to his investigation, three years ago, before they got married, Ran Yiqing and Chen Lushi, Ran Xueyi's grandfather and grandmother, were childhood sweethearts who met each other at an elementary school. But they were separated due to Chen Lushi's parents taking her with them overseas. 

The childhood sweethearts love story was cut off from that point, and nobody really knew what would happen by then. Ran Yiqing and Chen Lushi led their lives and even found their own partners before they met again. 

Nobody knew what happened after, but according to Grandpa Song's recollection, Ran Yiqing discovered that his girlfriend cheated on him and dumped her afterward. Two years later, Ran Yiqing found out that Chen Lushi had been single for a while and started to pursue her, trying to rekindle their love with each other during their elementary days.
