I'm Glad You Were Born

Whitney had wanted a family because she was all alone in the world and she found one in Isaac since he was in the same boat. In all the time they had been living together she never once saw him get in contact with his father. 

The relationship must be really bad but she didn't want to pry. All she knew about his family situation was that they weren't in touch and that his mother was dead. 

She didn't know how old Isaac had been when that happened but found out in a rather horrible way on his birthday. It was on a Saturday in August and they had plans to go to an amusement park less than an hour away but he said he needed to drop something off first. 

Whitney was confused when he went to pick up flowers but horrified when they stopped off at a cemetery and she saw that the grave he was leaving the flowers on had his birthdate as the death date. She didn't know his mother died giving birth to him! That sort of thing almost never happened!
