The messages did not respond as they do usually. 

After what felt like eons, the central command showed up with a terse response. 

[ Living metal is naturally transmuted metal that is resistant to ether. ] 

Vikram could feel the unwillingness of central command to answer from the ridiculously small font, as well as the dusty gray that answer appeared in. 

The central command really did not want him to know of this metal. 

" Why is it so important, that you don't even want to tell me what it is ? " Vikram asked. 

[ Living metal is resistant to any and all changes. ] 

That's about it. In the hyperspace, three computer screens were hanging in the air. One of them displayed Vikram's face, and the message that was shown to him. 

Another screen was purple, and on it a new message appeared in orange.
