"What do you want Racheal?" Genevieve said in an irritated tone while helping Elisa stand up.
"Me? I want...hmm, let me think...yeah, I want you two to get lost and never show your faces in front of me. Simple as that." Racheal said with a fake smile on her face as her minions giggled.
"Racheal, You are the one messing with us. So it would be better for you to leave before any more commotion happens" Elisa said in the calmest tone possible but she was obviously angry.
"Oh, the baby is now fighting back?" Racheal mocked Elisa as her minions laughed while Genevieve was fuming in anger.
Genevieve went towards her making her step back as she felt a little nervous and who wouldn't? Even though Genevieve seems like a beautiful and weak girl, but she proves that what you see is not always the truth.
She is an atomic, no, not atomic but a nuclear bomb. No one can mess with her, she can take down three fit muscular guys at one time and she is a badass. Her looks don't match her personality. Her blonde hair and blue eyes make her look like a princess who came out of a fantasy book but in reality she is no less than any villain of an action movie.
"Get lost before I replace that pretty face of yours with a bruised one" Genevieve said in a cold tone making Racheal gulp. She looked over towards Elisa and passed her a disgusted look before leaving. Genevieve turned towards Elisa who was zoned out.
"Elisa, you okay?" she asked coming towards Elisa and checked her from top to bottom and left to right.
"I'm fine Gennie. By the way, you looked so cool. Can I get an autograph?" Elisa acted like a desperate fan making Genevieve laugh.
"Don't think this cute act of yours can get you away with it" Genevieve said with a straight face making Elisa gulp.
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to mention him. I'm sorry" Elisa said with her head hung low whereas Genevieve was just staring at her.
"I promise. It will never happen again!" Elisa said while holding up three fingers on her right hand. Genevieve chuckled and nodded to which Elisa grinned.
"Dude~ how can she be this beautiful, hot and cute at the same time?" a boy passing by said to his friend which no doubt a comment for Elisa, but soon ran away after earning a glare from Genevieve.
"Let's go" Genevieve said as Elisa nodded and followed her.
Soon after, both of them reached the park near the University. Genevieve sat on a bench whereas Elisa left to get ice-cream. After a while Elisa came with three ice-creams in her hands making Genevieve frown.
"Why three?" she asked Elisa who got seated besides her.
"Actually I bought two but the shopkeeper gave me one for free. Here, your vanilla" Elisa said, handing Genevieve her ice-cream.
"And why is that?" she asked. "I used my beauty obviously," Elisa said, flipping her hair.
"*sigh* Why does all your confidence rise up when it comes to food?" Genevieve mumbled. "What?" Elisa asked while eating her first ice-cream.
"Nothing" Genevieve said as Elisa nodded.
"But it's so unfair" Genevieve said, making Elisa frown, "What is?" Elisa asked. "You got two and I got one!" Genevieve said as Elisa laughed.
"Don't joke around. I know you are not a big fan of ice-cream" Elisa said proudly, indicating that she knows her best friend very well. Genevieve just giggled at her cute behavior.
"Sorry to ruin your proud moment but can you tell me what are your flavors?" Genevieve asked while eating her ice-cream.
"This one is mango and this is my favourite Mint chocolate!!!" Elisa exclaimed.
"Ew. How can you eat that? It tastes like toothpaste." Genevieve made a disgusted face.
"Hey you! Don't judge my mint chocolate and I know if you get a chance you will devour all of it. You merciless witch!" Elisa said dramatically, making Genevieve chuckle.
"Anyway, shut up and let me eat peacefully" Elisa said, concentrating on her ice-creams while Genevieve shook her head helplessly. Soon both of them finished their ice-creams and were currently enjoying the beautiful view in front of them.
"I love this spot. The scenery is so beautiful. The mountains, the sky, everything is just perfect. I really want to go to the top of that mountain. I wonder how it will look from up there?" Elisa said, pointing ahead towards the mountains far away.
"Miss Elisa, the mountains you are talking about are beyond the border which means in the werewolves territory. You still want to go?" Genevieve said, teasing her.
"Really? then nope. I'm good. I didn't know that, haha" Elisa said awkwardly.
"...Elisa?" Genevieve said.
"Hm?" Elisa hummed in response.
"Can I ask you something?" Genevieve asked to which Elisa nodded.
"Why do you always stay silent when Racheal bullies you? You fight back when it's someone else, but why not Racheal?" she asked whereas Elisa went silent and stared at the ground.
"Elisa?" Genevieve said, waving her hand in front of Elisa's face.
"Huh?" Elisa snapped out of her thoughts.
"I asked something?" Genevieve said while Elisa just sighed.
"Gennie look, the thing is- *ring ring*" Elisa was saying but suddenly Genevieve's phone rang.
Genevieve took out her phone and after seeing the caller ID her face dropped. Her expression darkened which didn't go unnoticed by Elisa.
"Who is it?" Elisa asked and peeked in her phone and after seeing the caller ID she understood the reason behind Genevieve's bad mood. It was her Dad.
She picked up her phone and said in a cold tone,
"What now?"
"Genevieve, is this how you take your dad?" Her dad said sternly.
"First learn how to be a dad. Then come to me claiming your father-ship" Genevieve replied dryly.
"Genev-"
"Why did you call me?" Genevieve cut him off.
"*Ahem* Return home now" He ordered.
"And you think I'll come?" Genevieve replied.
"It's important. Me and your Mom are waiting" he said
"She is not my Mom and neither I think of you as my dad. As for my return? I'll be staying over at Elisa's house. And it's final!" Genevieve said sternly.
"GENEV-" Her dad shouted but before he could say anything more she cut the call.
"*sigh* I hate him...." Genevieve said burying her face in her hands whereas Elisa was pitying her poor friend who never got the love of a Father. Her Mother also left her halfway in this journey.
"It's okay...I'm always with you..." Elisa said comforting words to her friend who was about to cry.
Genevieve hugged Elisa and started to sob, making Elisa's heart drop.
"Shush...it's okay, you can cry it out. Sometimes it's the only way to calm your heart..." Elisa said, rubbing Genevieve's back.
"Why? *sob* Why does he do that? What does he get from it? *sob* After being the worst person *sob* He comes to me being the best dad ever *sob*Like nothing ever happened...I hate him *sob* I really hate him"
Genevieve cried in her best friend's embrace and that's how the whole evening went by.

"MOM!! WE'RE HOME" Elisa shouted entering her huge mansion. An old maid came running towards them.
"Mrs. Williams? Calm down, why are you running? It's not good for your health." Elisa scolded the old lady who was the head maid of the mansion. She was with Elisa from the day she was born so Elisa was quite close with her.
"I know I know, sorry. Welcome back Lisa and Miss Gennie" Mrs. Williams said with a smile that both the girls returned.
"Thank you but how many times should I tell you not to call me Miss. It's been so many years now, come on~" Genevieve whined, making Mrs. Williams laugh.
"Okay okay. I'll call you only Gennie. Happy?" she said as Genevieve nodded happily.
"Where is Mom? She didn't reply when I called out." Elisa asked, walking towards the couch and threw herself on it.
"Madam and Sir have gone out for some important business. They didn't specifically mention what business." Mrs. Williams replied to which Elisa frowned.
"Business? At this time? Dad too?" she asked to which Mrs. Williams nodded.
"Must be something important. Otherwise Aunt would have never left without seeing you eat like an elephant." Genevieve said.
"Yeah, you're righ- Hey!!!" Elisa exclaimed while Genevieve and Mrs. Williams laughed. Elisa also smiled after seeing Genevieve all happy again.
"You must be hungry? I'll set up the table, you both go and freshen up. And Gennie should I prepare the guest room or you'll stay in Lisa's room" Mrs. Williams asked to which Gennie passed a 'Is that even a question' look.
Mrs. Williams chuckled and said, "Okay then, so as always you'll stay in Lisa's room. Go and get changed" Mrs. Williams said and left.
"You can take my clothes since you didn't bring yours," Elisa said.
"Do you think I need your permission?" Genevieve said and walked past Elisa as she glared at her.
"This pretty brat" Elisa said glaring at Genevieve's back who was walking up the stairs.
"I know you're cursing at me so...thank you, I'll take that as a compliment" Genevieve said without looking back.
"How did she know?" Elisa asked herself before following up with her.
After a while both of them came down wearing their night suits. They settled down on the table and somehow convinced Mrs. Williams to join as well.
After a talkative and fun dinner both the girls were in the living room preparing to watch a movie whereas Mrs. Williams prepared snacks for them and returned to her room.
"What should we watch?" Elisa asked.
"Let's watch Titanic'' Genevieve suggested.
"No!" Elisa said, shaking her head furiously.
"Why?? I love that movie..." Genevieve whined.
"I'm sick of that movie. You have made me watch it over fifty times. Nuh-uh, it won't happen. Think of something else'' Elisa said, making Genevieve pout.
"Why don't we watch...Barbie?" Elisa mocked her friend who made a disgusted face on her suggestion.
"Don't start again, alright?" Genevieve said in an irritated tone.
"Hahaha but no really? Your mother really liked her to name you after one and you even look like her!" Elisa laughed.
"That's the main issue! I have the same characteristics as her which makes me want to puke" Genevieve said while making a disgusted face. After a debate of half an hour, the girls finally decided on a romantic movie and started to watch it. Genevieve was watching while munching on her popcorn whereas Elisa was just taking glances at the door.
"Don't worry, they'll come back" Genevieve said, not averting her gaze from the TV screen while Elisa just sighed. After an hour the movie ended and they got up to go to the room.
"It's 11:30 now and they still haven't returned, I'm getting worried now..." Elisa said, looking towards the main gate from her room's window.
"Don't worry Lisa, They are not kids. They'll come back" Genevieve said laying on her stomach on the bed.
"I know but...they're never out so late...." Elisa said, drawing the curtains.
"*sigh* Stop worrying and let's talk" Genevieve exclaimed sitting on the bed while hugging the pillow.
"*giggle* What do you want to talk about?" Elisa asked.
"Hm? Let's talk about- Oh, you're not covering it anymore?" Genevieve asked, looking towards Elisa's right foot.
"Yeah, and why would I cover it in front of you as well?" Elisa said, placing her hands on her waist while Genevieve chuckled.
"Yeah yeah, Miss Rare beauty" Genevieve teased.
"Stop it!" Elisa said, rolling her eyes.
"Oh come on. You're the town's rare gem. Your beautiful brown hair and those emerald eyes are sure not common. Right Miss Town's Pride" Genevieve teased Elisa while she huffed in annoyance.
