2 days had passed and Chloe had visited Hiro every day at the branch house, she came to teach him about the Demon race as promised.

However, after talking for an hour she tended to burn herself out, and instead of going home, she decided to take "Make yourself at home" a bit too litteral as she stuck around... For hours.

***Saturday***

Hopping over the wall to see a big traditional multipurpose long house connected to a few other buildings of some sort, she had snuck in "again".

Stealthily sneaking around the outside of the building she had seen a sliding door, and as she had moved slowly to avoid detection, she got to the door and noticed the light was on as she could see the light past the thin sheet of the traditional looking sliding door. This was perfect so she opened it to see and hear-

Stopping as she looked in front of her, she saw Hiro reading a THICK old book, and he was struggling to read it.

He was in his boxers and sitting on the floor casually just being there, existing in matter of fact, but why?

"You can read? That's a surprise?" Unknown

Slamming the thick old book against the ground, he was frustrated, he spoke common and knew next to nothing in beastern, so having this book was like him talking with an ogre that sucked off a troll, it was fucking aggravating!

"Then why are you reading it?" Unknown was generally confused.

Laying back and closing his eyes, he answered,

"Because what I desire lies in this book, and it's not just that, someone who I just met, a complete Stanger who I don't know if I can trust or not had given me something so valuable just because I felt lost, due to a certain problem of mine" Hiro

"I know I don't owe them anything and I'm not entitled to read the book because they gave it to me, but it's just the fact that they had what I desperately craved and gave it to me without hesitation? Or asking why" Hiro

Looking to who it was his eyesight wasn't fully recovered, he had just got it back late last night, so at most he could only see up close, everything farther than 3ft was blurry. But as he looked to the outside door he saw someone with brown hair.

"Yes, but I need your full cooperation on this, over the past 3 days I've managed to keep my identity hidden. And since everyone thinks I'm a normal and mostly weak bunny girl, the chances of finding our vampire is still slim. But it's not impossible"

He didn't know whether or not to be in awe or scared of her acting because some of them weren't stupid and Emily was mostly always indifferent, it was like her default, so her acting was always a form of she knew exactly what she was doing.

"Other than common I know beastern seeing as I am a beast person, so I should be able to read some of it to you. As for the others. You're on your own for finding them to translate it for you" Emily

Moving over onto his side, he had a smile on his face as he heard her tell him this, "I guess I'll be going to school today, just tell me what I need to do senior Emily" but then wind blew and as he looked up at her, her skirt flew up revealing her blueish-green panties with a bear logo on it and a thigh belt holding a dagger.

As noon came crashing down from Emily's point of view, she had been with Hiro the entire early morning and had no time to relieve herself, so her motor functions were a bit stiff and dulled.

Walking with him into the University's gates, she had looked all around and low ranking slayers had been around at the front gates and making sure everyone was to come and didn't leave. she ignored them as they didn't matter and as she looked to Hiro as she going to ask him to try and help her find out if there was anyone in their class he knew as unusual he saw him sunny expression and he gasped as she looked forward.

Seeing his expression, she looked and she saw perter and Tina walking, and in saying that, she could have taken a guess, especially since he didn't give her a phone for a year and still doesn't. He ran over over them, jumping at them and grabbing onto them like he had said a forever goodbye last time but not was back for good, it was almost heartwarming and the others were happy, no, they were overjoyed to see him.

Not wanting to deal with a bunch of pesky teenagers, she walked off to a bench close by where she had eavesdropped on them and looked around to see if any of her suspects were around.

The mission she was given last year was one of vampire hunting. Last year when she ordered to come here, she was told that a vampire of some nearby noble settlement had snuck into their kingdom and to make it worst, had found itself in here.

How they knew it was a vampire boy was because they found a body drained of blood, meaning that the vampire was starving at one point and lost control, but either way, with some exceptions they have in the system, whoever it was killed an innocent backer, and from how it looks, they're dealing with a male vampire because the female backer's body had been defiled on closer inspection, it was a bit odd as no sex was involved, but a beastfolk could just tell when closely examining the corpse that it happened.

Actually now thinking about it, she had wanted to kick them for accepting Hiro back so easily. they were a good pair of friends, but even so, she wasn't so forgiving as he had ghosted her for a year and even she was salty about it, because she needed him and because of him had been stuck at a SCHOOL for a year, meaning she had to take the exams and even pass her grades to take the role of a normal student.

Meanwhile, both Peter and Tina gulped as they recognized that girl and well, "Oh hey, I think Sanibel's calling me, gotta run, see you in class bro!" and "Oh look a hot guy, talk to you later Hiro!" they left with an off look and the human-looking Chloe.

Getting to him was all smiling and overly bright,

"Good Morning Hiro, I'm glad to see you all recovered"
