Chapter 121: Amazing Planning

"How nostalgic, we've experienced something like this before." Blake tossed the pouch in his hand, catching it before it fell to the ground. He didn't even look at Simon during his words.

"Hey, Main Character. Were you a thief before you came into this world? Why are you always trying to steal something from me?" Contrary to his words, he put on a mocking smile. He grasped the mouth of the pouch with his fingertips and began to spin it.

The girls' lips trembled, they wanted to giggle, but the word Blake said, "Before you came into this world," confused them. In particular, Momo, who was born with great intelligence, was able to sense that there was a hidden meaning in Blake's words.

She thought of the words "Before you came to this world". She remembered the painful look Blake had thrown at the sky that day, and she remembered the sympathy he had for her the first time they met as if he had known her in a previous life. With his unknown background and unruly power, he now had Inventory. As her thoughts continued, a word began to echo in Momo's mind.

Reincarnation!

Snap!

But before she had a chance to reflect on her theory, she felt a pain in her forehead. Small tears appeared at the corners of her eyes, and she rubbed her forehead with both hands. She looked at Blake with a wounded expression.

"I told you not to think, didn't I? I'll explain everything when this is over. Thinking about it without knowing anything will only hurt you." Blake was standing in his flick position, one hand up. After his words, he lightly poked her forehead.

"Hah* You smart girl." Blake sighed, pulled back his hand, and rubbed the bridge of his nose. From Momo's gaze, he realized that she had understood some things, if he hadn't stopped her in time, this cute girl might have guessed a lot more, even though he didn't say anything to her.

Momo lowered her head like a child who made a mistake, but a small smile bloomed on her face in Blake's praise. Blake's words seemed to confirm her thoughts, and she was happy that the man she loved was intent on telling her something so important.

'No, I wouldn't think about it now.' She shook her head and cast the thoughts aside. She couldn't think of that as Blake had said. It was better to focus on the thief and the newcomer group rather than thinking about something she would eventually learn.

During Blake and Momo's conversation, four men arrived and approached Simon. One of them, Edward, stood one step ahead of them and stood in a defensive position, while the rest were removing metal from Simon's legs.

"I do-" Momo raised her hand to stop them. She didn't want the quartet to smash the items she had worked so hard on.

Before she could say anything, however, Jay with the spellbook in his hand said a word. His words were accompanied by the rustle of the book, with a slight rustle the pages changed, and ıt stopped at one page.

Click!

With a sharp voice, the belts that bound Simon's legs and constantly infused him with anesthetic snapped open and ıt fell to the ground. Dozens of pointed pins on the belts made The Five gasp.

Aiden took Simon's hand and tried to lift him, but Simon tried to stand up, wobbled, and fell back to the ground. Aiden looked at his friends and winked at them. He said quietly that he needed a few minutes.

Leo was one step ahead of his friends. With a friendly smile, he opened his hands and spoke.

"Blake-san, it's been a long time since we've seen each other. I hope you're having a good day." Whether it was his demeanor or his words, he seemed to want to get on well with Blake.

Blake looked behind Leo. The group looked at him and those behind him warily and prepared to fight, just waiting for Simon to come to his sense.

"You don't need to try to buy time for the thief to recover. I can wait for you to get ready for the fight." Blake's gaze swept over the group, ran his finger through the string of the pouch, and began to twist the pouch on his finger.

Leo's expression wrinkled. As Blake had said, he was trying to buy time for his friend to recover. His gaze shifted to the pouch Blake was spinning on his finger. Blake, staring at them with cold indifference, continued to turn the starry sack, not caring what was inside or how precious it was.

"Blake-san, do we need to fight? We only want what's ours from you." To tell the truth, Leo didn't want to fight Blake. The Harem King had sent them what he knew about Blake's powers last night, and fighting someone so versatile and cold wouldn't end well for them.

And he seemed to be right in his thoughts. Now, when he met Blake's eyes, his indifferent demeanor was somewhat reminiscent of Scathach. He felt he could see Scathach's shadow behind Blake.

He shook his head slightly and got rid of the thought. How ridiculous, the two people were in completely different positions and it was impossible for them to even communicate with each other. They just looked alike in character.

''Belongs to you? Is everything you see yours? The speed power I had last time, now the pouch?" One corner of Blake's lip curled up. His words confused The Five.

Leo looked to his friends for an answer, but each had expressions like him. Simon, the target of Blake's words, was unable to control his expression due to the anesthetic remaining in his body, and thanks to this, he was unable to show any expression or talk about the subject.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but what's inside the pouch in your hand is truly ours. We worked so hard for it, all our hopes are in it. Please give it back to us." Leo's hands were shaking slightly. His words were especially true for him, one of the contents of the bag that Blake randomly waved in his hand would be his strongest assistant in the long run, while another would be his greatest strength.

"Mmh…" Blake lifted the bag in front of his face and began to think. Leo's expression sparkled with hope, but his next words shattered his hopes.

''No, I won't. I don't like to embellish my intentions, and I meant to say that I would get it straight away. However, your friend tried to steal from me twice and failed. Let's just say I stole this item from you and I was successful." Blake squinted his eyes slightly, tossed the pouch at the girls behind him, and began to stretch.

Rumi grabbed the pouch and hung it on the belt around her waist. She put a hand on her shoulder and turned her arm. The sounds of "Bump" and "Snap!" were constantly coming out of her arm. Her expression grew more and more ferocious, her red eyes burning with fighting desire.

"So the only solution is to fight…" This time it was Simon who spoke. As expected of a speedster, he get his sense quickly, put his hand on his friend's shoulder, straightened his posture, and began walking towards Blake.

Blake waved his hand at the girls. He stepped forward. In his second step, his pupils were covered with lightning. Lightning strips from both sides of his eye merged from his pupil, revealing a mesmerizing image.

Bzt! Bzzt! Crackle!

Small lightning bolts would shoot out from Blake and spread through the air, disappearing the next second. Blake's steps brought lightning behind him. After just a few steps, it shone like a small, elegant white sun.

Simon was in a similar situation. He had lightning bolts as bright as him, even brighter than Blake, although the lightning was different in color.

'Just a warning. If the person I am fighting is my enemy, I will never show mercy. So be prepared to die when you move your feet." Blake's gaze became as sharp as a sword. His whole aura changed, his handsome youthful aura that people would have a hard time approaching vanished. It was replaced by a shuddering bloodlust.

A bloody aura began to emerge from his well-trained figure. All that could be seen on his bloody aura-covered body were his eyes glowing with cold light.

"Gulp*" Simon swallowed deeply before tightening his resolve. Blake's stern and sharp gaze involuntarily frightened him, but he could not back down.

Crackle! Crackle!

He created more lightning to tighten his decision. Lightning was shooting out of his body like a storm cloud. Simon took a step forward, suddenly turning. In just 0.5 seconds, he was wearing the same outfit as The Flash.

"Let's run, Blake." Simon took another step forward, this time starting to run. He suddenly appeared in front of Blake and took a sharp turn towards the city.

Blake watched the man go indifferently. He lifted his leg. His clothes were blowing in an uncertain wind, his hair was fluttering.

''Choose your opponents, help each other if you have difficulties. If you get stuck, let Teka know. She will protect you as I did." He took a step and disappeared in an instant. He left a graceful white lightning strip behind him.

Vhom! Vhom! Vhom!

A strange sound, caused by the forceful pushing of the wind, was heard among the people in the wasteland. As the group looked behind the outgoing duo, they saw a strip of white lightning-fast approaching the yellow lightning strip on the main road at high speed.

"Okay, now that he's gone, let's pick our opponents." Rumi grabbed one arm with the other and started to stretch. She kept her bright smile the whole time. She was very eager to choose an opponent.

After staring at the quartet for a moment, her gaze shifted to Edward in the group. She wasn't sure what it was, but her instincts told her that this man would be the most precious thing to her.

"Is this love?" She was joking. Her body, heart, soul, and womb to bear his children belonged to Blake, and every love she had and could have was to be given to Blake. But as she looked at Edward, her cheeks were flushed with blush.

She had a strange feeling that she had found "The Beaten Man" V.2.0. She wasn't sure how to describe it, but it looked like she had found a new one of her favorite punching bags as a kid, in adult form. Not only did her fists itch, but her feet also began to kick the ground as if ıt wanted to kick.

"Why are you looking at me so strange-'' Edward tilted his body back in response to Rumi's strange gaze. He saw a small fire burning deep in Rumi's eyes. Her eyes were wide open, her toothy grin covered with a healthy blush. She was staring at him as if looking at delicious prey.

But before he could finish his words, she appeared in front of them, in the air. She had her arms spread wide, her hair swaying uncontrollably. The sun was hitting behind her and shadowing her face, leaving behind her wild smirk and bright eyes.

Rumi grabbed the sides of Edward's chin hard with her kneecaps. Her slam was so hard that the Sturdy Saint Sacred Gear activated, doubling his defense. However, the effect did not wear off. His head spun, and his vision darkened. A simple question remained in his mind.

"How does this man deal with such a brutal and tough woman?" However, his question would never be answered. After grabbing him with both legs, Rumi grabbed the wall of the parking behind them, powered his legs, and dragged Edward, hitting him on the downstairs roof.

Bam!!

A large hole appeared between the second floor and the first floor of the parking. Rumi loosened her grip and let her body fall. She suddenly turned her body in mid-air and slammed Edward's head on the ground. Except for Edward's head, parts of him were still in the air from the sudden blow.

STURDY!

A strange sound was heard. The sudden sound made even Rumi, who was in wild mode, startled. She expected a counterattack, but all she received was a Golden light rising from Edward's body. [EN: There is no such thing, but I added it.]

After the golden light, it was the increase in resistance he felt in the head gripped by his kneecaps. This was not a conscious thing, the defense of the body had unconsciously increased with the golden light.

Rumi's wild grin got bigger. As she expected, she got "The Beaten Man" V.2.0. She let her body fall forward. She gripped the ground, twisted her waist sharply, and threw Edward up.

Edward went through the hole of the first floor and crashed into the ceiling of the second floor. It broke through with a loud noise. Pieces of rubble were constantly falling, dust cloud was increasing.

The dust cloud fell through the hole to the downstairs where Rumi was and was suddenly gripped. In the dust, Rumi kept her smile. She bent her legs and jumped. She began to follow after Edward, who was flying uncontrollably.

If this was a public place, she wouldn't be able to fight so easily. However, this area that Blake found for them was completely deserted, waiting to undergo urban transformation. In this way, she could fight without fear or hesitation.

"Rumi-nee-chan went into fashion. Buu~ Looks like she's having a lot of fun." The girl group was watching Rumi's activities from afar. The figure of Rumi, visible in the dust, would occasionally pop out of the dust, keep beating Edward, and eventually go back into the dust. Nejire puffed her cheek reproachfully. With a frown, she reached Fuyumi's side and spoke.

"Come, Fuyumi-nee-chan. Let's go have fun. In the meantime, we'll work on the "Ko-ko-ko-combo attack" we've been considering." Nejire grabbed Fuyumi's arm with one arm, raised the other arm fiercely, and shouted childishly.

Fuyumi squinted her eyes and nodded with a mild smile. Nejire's childish actions made her want to protect her.

The "Combo Attack" Nejire said was something they thought about while playing the game the other day. The girls had invented a lot of combinations with each other's Quirks and eventually discovered that the two of their Quirks had produced a nice combo attack.

Nejire continued to hold Fuyumi's arm. Fingers gripped her chin and her eyes flickered between the remaining three as if making a difficult choice.

However, this indecision did not last long. The sunlight reflecting off the sword Aiden was holding reached her eyes. She looked at his sword, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

"Let's fight with him."

"Sure." For Fuyumi, it didn't matter who she was fighting, so she agreed. Nejire jumped in excitement, tugging the girl by the arms, heading towards an empty field.

Aiden looked at them, then at his friends. Shaking his head, he followed them.

Only Nemuri, Momo, Joe, and Jay remained. It didn't take long for Nemuri to find her opponent.

"The one with the book looks very powerful, I'll leave it to you Momo-chan." Nemuri was aware of her strength and what she could do. She wouldn't respond to his magic-like moves, so she decided to leave it to Momo and go to Joe, who seemed to be weaker.

She ignored Momo's accusing gaze. Curling her hips, she passed the two of them, and Joe followed after her after a sigh.

Being seen as the weakest… he didn't know whether to be happy or sad.

Only Momo and Jay remained.

"Let's get this thing done quickly. I have to help my friends." Jay raised his hand, the pages of the book he was holding starting to turn. After a few short seconds, the pages stopped changing.

[Flame Wave]

Momo gave her full attention to prepare for the coming attack. She could tell that Jay was doing something magical. It seemed a little supernatural, but she considered it normal. After all, the man she loved could control lightning at will and break the laws of physics, and her classmate could also control a flame at will.

It wasn't all that surprising for Momo and the others to learn of the existence of magic. What was amazing was the fantastic stuff like Inventory that no one in the MHA world could do.

In her thoughts, the attack began. After Jay's book glowed a gentle light blue, a huge cluster of flames shot out from it. As Jay had said, in just a second, it had transformed into a massive Flame Wave targeting Momo.

The ever-moving scorching flames rose into the sky like a gigantic wave. The land was suddenly engulfed in flames. Flame Wave was crashing down on her as if it wanted to swallow Momo.

The air was getting warmer and harder to breathe. Shining with orange-red flames, Momo's face turned slightly red from the extreme heat.

A pair of coal-black eyes, sparkling with high intelligence, watched the wave of flame. Momo looked like a small ant in front of the Flame Wave but showed no sign of fear.

She calmly brought her hands forward and aligned them with palms facing the ground. Her hand glowed with multiple colors. After a brief moment, two large tools fell to the ground. They both looked like little cannons.

Momo put her hands on the cannon. The cannons were fired as if they had been triggered.

Zvshhhh!! Pshhhhh!!!

Green poisonous gas was released from the cannon to the right of Momo. The cannon on her left was squirting clean water. It seemed like a futile attack in the face of the Giant Flame Wave, but its effect was greater than one might think.

Whooshhhh!!

When the poison came into contact with the flame, like a wall blocking it, the Flame Wave's advance stopped. The flame burned the poison as if it had met its worst enemy, but when a poison did not interact with the fire, it would not have an explosion-like effect, it would just burn.

The poison was burning with every passing second, causing a green-gray-black gas to spread into the air. That's when the water kicked in.

Pssffhh!!

Water and fire made contact, the white steam mixed with the hideous colored steam. Momo continued her attack. A third cannon fell between the two cannons. Momo put her foot on the cannon. The cannon trembled slightly and...

Pank! Pank! Pank! Pank!

It started to throw soil with a strange sound. Water and soil came together to form mud, which fell to the ground by absorbing the poisonous gas formed by the combination of fire poison and water.

Pank! Pank! Pank! Pank!

The clean brown-colored soil at first turned into a green-black-gray color when it entered the gas and fell to the ground. After just a few moments, a large poisonous swamp had formed separating Jay and Momo.

"What is this?" Jay was stunned by what she saw. In the anime, Momo wasn't that smart and lacked the experience to end battles so effectively and abruptly. She usually lags behind Midoriya and her classmates, even when she pushes herself to the limits.

But Momo, in front of him, did not show any weakness as she calmly watched her from behind three balls. She made decisions with absolute calm and gained an advantage with the most effective decision. If he didn't have magic, their fight now would be over because of the poison swamp Momo had built.

[Breath of Ice]

[Ice Breath]

With a sweet rustle, the pages changed. Air that was hotter than its boiling point suddenly became cooler. An icy breath came out of the book and followed the Flame Wave.

The Flame Wave quickly extinguished due to the extreme cold, and the boiling mud turned into ice crystals.

When Momo saw his new attacking style, she stopped the three cannons and pulled them aside. Her pupils began to move and analyze the environment. After a few short seconds, a new plan formed in her mind.

Her exposed shoulder glowed with multiple lights. The head of a Flamethrower slowly took shape on her shoulder. Another took shape on the other shoulder.

Vhoshhh!!

The Flamethrowers started spitting flames like dragons. Flames were produced by Momo. The Flamethrowers attached to her body could thus have unlimited resources.

Flame and Ice collided. Water vapor covered the wasteland. The tip of one of the Flamethrowers was pointing to the ground. Contacted by the scorching flames, the strangely colored ice on the floor melted, causing steam to be covered in hideous colors once again.

Jay frowned, Momo's movements getting on his nerves. After a few skirmishes, they had just returned to their previous position.

Could she be trying to buy time? She could be waiting for the others to come, destroying the area they were fighting, and building a swamp between the two of them. He bent his index finger and pressed it to his chin, the idea starting to make sense.

Or why-

Swish! Swish! Swish!

A few sharp objects pierced through the hideous colored steam. The target of a few tens of spikes was Jay's weak parts. Because of the sudden attack, Jay hadn't noticed until the sharp objects came into his sight.

Time seemed to slow down for Jay, his body moving against his will. His thoughts were cleared, and he said a few words with his eyes wide open.

[Stone Skin]

He closed his eyes, lowered his head, and covered his mouth with one hand. His skin turned yellow, and crack-like stripes appeared on his skin.

Tink! Ding! Tink! Tink!

Dozens of sharp objects slammed into his skin. A kunai bounced from his eyelids and fell to the ground. The pointed needle passed through the cracks in his hand, which was wrapped around his mouth, and entered his hand. Some sharp objects bounced off his skin, causing sparks.

Jay took a step back with every sharp object hitting his body. An even smaller pointy object, emitting a dangerous glow with sunlight, emerged from the dark cloud and crashed into him.

[Wind-]

Dink!

[Stone Du-]

CLANK!

[Lightning-]

Tud!

[Rune:--]

Jay did his best to talk. He didn't need chanting like in the magical worlds. He could cast spells without words, but the prerequisite was that he uttered the spell he intended. The purpose behind this was for the book to detect the spells he said and find that page and reveal the spell.

However, the incessant shelling of sharp objects kept interrupting his words. The pages of the floating book were constantly changing, creating a rustling sound that was irrelevant to the environment, due to his constant utterance and silence of magic words.

The spike bombardment stopped for a moment. Jay stepped back and straightened his posture. He opened his eyes, but the color on his face disappeared from what he saw at that moment.

Momo was wearing a gas mask. She was crossing both hands in front of her face, forcibly pushing the dark cloud out. She must have jumped before she emerged from the black cloud, as she was descending in the air.

Momo landed, bent her body slightly, and rushed to Jay, shrinking the friction area. She reached her, following a half-moon route, punching with the momentum she had gathered.

Jay tilted his head back and dodge, the hard fist stroking his face, bringing a little wind behind it.

Momo suddenly drew her wasted fist and elbowed Jay. Jay wasn't expecting this. His combat experience was very low and he was still considering Momo with her powers in the Anime.

But Momo's melee, trained by Blake, was simply terrifying. Even Rumi was wary of her versatility in melee with Quirk. This cute high IQ girl had turned into a small monster in close combat with Blake's help.

BANG!

The elbow hit him in the face. Jay's cheek twitched, and he staggered back. However, he quickly recovered himself and spat out a few words.

[Ouroboros]

Momo's movements stopped for a moment. Her gaze shifted from Jay to the book in the air. She could feel an eerie pressure from the book. Her breathing was getting colder and she was trembling with the feeling of death. If this thing continued, she could die.

She thought of her family, she thought of her friends, her sisters. The gentle smile of the man she loved came before her eyes. There were so many things she wanted to do with him and them but couldn't. She wanted to see the end of her Quirk's potential, being a great hero, she wanted to create a family with Blake, and she wanted to live longer.

Her expression hardened, and she raised her hand towards the book, her gaze strengthened. Her hand shone with a multitude of lights. A second later, an object flew out of her hand.

Protective-Aggressor Parasite [EN: Chapter 40-50 or something]

The object stuck to the book and spread, covering it completely. Momo quickly picked up a Kunai from the ground and threw it at the object.

Tink!! BAM! Crack!

With the collision, the object suddenly hardened and fell to the ground. Pages stopped scrolling. Momo's sixth sense calmed down, she let out a sigh of relief.

"Y-You..." Jay wanted to say something about what had just happened, but his words were cut off by Momo's kick. Bent over, Momo suddenly changed her stance. She placed her hands on the ground, lifted her leg, and kicked Jay in the chin.

"Clank*" Jay's teeth chattered, his teeth trembling at the roots.

Momo didn't follow her this time. As if her work was done, she stood up and began to shrug. She did not look at Jay during her movements but checked for any injuries.

Jay used this opportunity to recover. His gums hurt, and various parts of his body ached from the stabbing of various objects. Still, he raised his hand and intended to cast a spell.

Jay's magic was mostly based on his book, but that didn't mean he couldn't cast a spell. In his spare time, he would try to cast spells without his book and could do a few spells.

He raised his hand and aligned it with Momo, who carelessly checked herself. He channeled his mana into his hand and opened his mouth.

Babump!

But before he had a chance to do anything, he heard the harsh sound of his heartbeat. His vision blurred. He was dizzy, losing his balance every second. Nothing was clear except his hand, even Momo he could see through his fingers was blurred.

He staggered, it was getting harder and harder to keep his balance. He fell forward, not realizing what was happening.

"T- this is… what… what is…" It was getting harder and harder to put the words together. His pupils were blurred and his light was fading. Unconsciously, he grasped the ground, his fingers closed, forming tracks on the ground.

He couldn't understand what was happening to him right now. He was sure his mana wasn't finished. Since there is no mana in this world, he was especially careful to use effective spells that used low mana, and he was sure that he had not used any big spells except for the last spell he cast.

Then why was he in such a bad situation? He felt the urge to vomit. His heart was beating so fast, that he couldn't regain his strength.

"Looks like it worked." Jay heard Momo's voice. But because of his condition, Momo's voice sounded very far away. He turned his unfocused gaze to her and saw Momo looking down at him.

It work? What exactly was she talking about? Jay had not taken any attack other than physical damage. Physical attacks weren't strong enough to have this effect on him.

As the darkness gradually took over his vision, he saw a liquid. It had a red and intense color to indicate that it was liquid blood, but it had a green tint to it.

"What-what... is going on..."

Momo looked at the man on the floor, who was desperately trying to understand what was going on. She lifted her head and looked around. The battlefields were still covered with a cloud of steam and smoke. Rumi continues to beat Edward, the girls still fighting with waves of blue flames she could see in the distance.

However, there was no one nearby. If no one showed up, she was done here. She also had a feeling that this fight was the end. She felt that she would never again meet the person in front of her struggling with helplessness.

"Poison." She said one word and turned away. She paid no more attention to Jay. Her sisters might not be able to fight as easily as she did, and if necessary, she had to go to their side to help them.

'Poison?' A little clarity came to Jay's blurry eyes.

He thought of Momo's attacks from the beginning. The word poison made more sense. He had inhaled a lot of poison since he had not cast a wind spell, but it shouldn't have affected him enough to bring him back to his current state.

The main thing that made the poison penetrate his body must have been the sharp objects that pierced his skin. Needles, kunai, knives, scalpels, and more had come into contact with poison gas before being thrown at him.

If it was just poison gas, it wouldn't be a problem, but objects passing between freshly melted ice and moist gases should have been coated with poison.

He was even more shocked at this thought. He took one last look at Momo, who was getting further and further away from him. Did Momo... have planned all this from the start? Could the combination of poison, water, and mud have been a step towards bringing him to his current state?

If so, how clever and planning did it take? Even Momo in the anime wasn't that smart.

Jay smiled oddly. The light in his eyes completely disappeared. It was nice in itself to see this side of the character he loved.

He didn't think he was going to die. He did not feel the coldness of death on himself. Momo must have used a poison that would probably knock him unconscious and paralyzed, and he would be unconscious until he could get the antidote. He didn't know what awaited him when he awoke, but he wasn't going to think about it.

Jay fainted thinking about Momo's cool side.
