Chapter 41

--------------------

"Hah... So it's time. Don't resist."'

A green sliver emerged from Midoriya's chest and was directed towards Blake.

When the strip came near his head, Blake didn't resist and let it get into his head. The speed power would take care of everything for him.

As Blake thought, the speed power surrounded it as soon as the green strip entered his skull. Whenever Blake wanted, it would take action, but if Blake didn't want it, it couldn't touch the green strip as long as it didn't hurt him.

Blake's eyes darkened. When he blinked, the world in his vision had completely changed.

He was in a shattered room. Only one of the four walls remained intact, and the floor below was full of cracks, half missing. The room consisted of a single door and several large armchairs.

The room was floating in a green-black void. The space was moving in a certain direction every second, but those in the room or room were not affected in any way by this movement.

There were eight people in the room besides Blake.

Zvip!! Bam!

Blake tilted his head to the side, dodging the black stripe that had come to his senses. The strip hit the edge of the seat and made a large hole in the seat.

He turned his gaze to the person who attacked him.

The person who attacked him was a muscular bald man. He was wearing a jacket that didn't quite cover his open chest. He had glasses on his head and a cross-bullet belt on his chest. He looked more like a street vagrant than a hero.

"Is this a declaration of war?" Lightning appeared in Blake's eyes. His body glowed in an elegant white light.

CRACKLE!

The lightning came out of Blake and spread through the environment. Speed power began the roar as if it was on a power show.

The white color jumped out of Blake's body and began to paint the environment. The black-green space flickered slightly and tried to suppress the white color. But the white color was very oppressive and powerful, and as the piece disappeared piece by piece, it went into a desperate struggle.

"No, it's not. My friend's just a little too reckless, that's all. Please don't take it seriously."' He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand.

The person speaking was a man with a large crack on his face. The stretch marks started above his left eye and ended under his lips. He was wearing a hoodie and had long hair.

This normally calm man was now covered in a cold sweat. His body was shaking uncontrollably. The white lightning was activating his Quirk and telling him to escape from here and that a great danger was approaching him

Blake turned to the man who attacked him after the man's words.

The bald man approved by gritting his teeth.

''All right. Then I won't take it seriously. I hope it doesn't happen again." Blake pulled back his lightning bolts. He spread out on the chair.

"I'll make sure it doesn't happen." The man spoke with a friendly smile before pulling his friend to the edge of the room.

He pulled the bald man to the edge of the room. He checked Blake one last time before speaking. He saw him looking around indifferently and not paying attention to himself.

"What do you think you're doing? Almost everything was ruined because of you." He grabbed both sides of the bald man's shoulder, brought his face closer to him.

"What do you mean, everything was falling apart? Are we going to stand aside like cowards and watch him take our power away from us?'' The bald man slapped his friend's hand and pushed his face away.

"Coward? Do you think we're afraid of him?'' They were nervous about Blake's strength, and the prospect of their souls disintegrating made them even more nervous, but other than that, none of the eight were afraid, except him.

Other than him, each of them was a person who had faced death many times. Also, many of them had fought All for One more than once and were on the verge of death. People who had experienced such things could not be so easily frightened.

If there was anything that could truly frighten them, it might be a power that could make them helpless, and Blake unfortunately did not have that power.

"Then what are we going to do?" The bald man frowned, put his arms around his chest. He didn't want to just stand there and let Blake do what he wanted.

''I do not know. But this youngster...'' The guy with the crack in his face pointed his head at Blake. "He seems to know Nana. Let Nana talk to him."

The bald man's face turned ugly. He didn't want to leave Blake like that, but there was nothing he could do. Since he was in spirit form and no longer had One For All, he couldn't use all of his strength.

All he could do was use his whip, but Blake's reaction speed prevented him from using his whip. In that case, there was nothing he could do except fight against Blake with his comrades.

"Ok." He bowed his head and reluctantly accepted.

The two returned and sat in their chairs. When they finished whispering, a strange silence appeared in the atmosphere. Blake was waiting for them to talk, and the band was thinking about how they were going to behave.

Finally, the only woman among them could not stand the silence and spoke.

"Even though our demands are conflicted, we do not have to be enemies. I'm going to break the ice between us by introducing myself, I'm Nana Shimura, who are you, young man?'' Nana aligned her hand to her chest and introduced herself.

"Blake, just Blake." Blake turned to the others. He had no business after this event. He didn't mind killing some time and meeting new people, especially if they were great old heroes.

"Yoichi Shigaraki." The white-haired man explained in a friendly manner. He had white hair around his neck and his bangs closed his eyes. Apart from this trait, he remained ordinary among others.

Blake's turned the others. Two people were looking at him with open hostility, and their stance indicated that they were ready for war. Exhausted, he passed them and turned to the others.

"Hikage Shinomori"The person speaking was the man with two lines of cracks on his face.

"En." A man who wore a rather baggy suit and pulled the collar of his suit to the brim spoke. With its petite structure, it looked younger than most of the group.

"Daigoro Banjo." The bald man put his arms around his chest and introduced himself in a low tone as he watched around with frowns.

As expected, Blake knew none of them except Nana. He had seen the faces of some of them in books. But he couldn't remember which one he saw. He shrugged and stopped thinking.

"Cough*..." Nana coughed in an attempt to draw attention to herself and distract the obvious tension in the environment. Eyes turned to her, she started talking.

Before I answer your offer, I have a few questions. Can you answer?"

Blake put his finger to his chin. There was nothing he could do after he got out of here, and he didn't have any immediate business. Besides, the girls were still in the thinking stages, so it would have been better if he gave them a few more hours.

He was hesitant about what had happened to Nejire before. But today he didn't have to worry as Rumi was staying at his home. If there was a problem, the rabbit woman could intervene on her own and keep up with the problems.

''All right. But a few questions." He nods his head.

"That's enough. Isn't that right?''Nana turned to the people around. A few were reluctant but then nodded. Like Nana, they had confusing questions and wanted an answer.

"Speed power, what exactly is it?" All eyes turned to Blake. Even those who were hostile were attracted to this question.

"What?", Blake's eyebrows frowned upon, and shock appeared in his gaze. He was surprised that they didn't know the source of their power and what it was that they had used for nearly nine generations. He rubbed his nose belt with his fingers.

"You have used this power for 9 generations... You can't just be punching stupidly, can you?'' Blake rolled his eyes. Those who met his gaze averted their eyes in embarrassment, even the duo, who had been hostile from the beginning, began to look away. Except one.

"I used my turn to do research and understand power, but this is the first time I've heard what you're talking about as speed power." Hikage Shinomori made his confusion clear.

Ever since he got the power, he knew he couldn't fight All For One. Whenever he thought of fighting him, his sense of danger was telling him not to do so or he would suffer a one-sided defeat.

So he used his turn to increase and consolidate the power within him. He also constantly researched exactly what One For All is and how it can become more powerful.

But it was the first time he'd heard of speed power and something like that. Although One For All increased speed greatly, it was not related to the concept of "speed", as Blake mentioned. It was a force that could be referred to as "empowerment".

Blake thought for a few seconds before he started explaining. Even he didn't know exactly what speed power was.

"I don't know what speed power is. I'm still exploring this power, but if there's one thing I understand, it's that it completely encompasses the concept of "speed." It's a power to any concept of speed you can think of."

"But these are just my comments. It's not that simple. It's bigger than thought. But I don't know exactly what is it."

After the speech, silence engulfed the room in the space. Each of them was drawn to their little world, thinking of Blake's words. As the seconds passed, strange expressions appeared on their faces.

Nana was surprised to discover that the power within them was such a great, mysterious and deep power. She realized that what Blake was talking about was only digging into the outer surface of the full potential of this power.

What Blake said was superficial. He probably didn't want to tell them everything he knew, and she clearly understood why.

But all this, and Blake's previous show of force, made her even more reluctant to give that power back to Blake.

Lives, lifetimes, and many lives were lost to finish All For One and what it brought with it. Blake's words were like a glimmer of light on the dark road. At last, they could see the stone path and the finish line that would lead them to the end of the road.

They didn't want to rip this light out with their own hands.

Blake laughed inwardly as he watched the group's emotional expressions. They could think what they wanted or plot against him, he was going to get one of his speed powers today and the group opposite had nothing they could do to stop him.

"If you get that power... What are you going to do with that power?'' Yoichi asked moderately. He didn't want to give this power to Blake and create a second one out of his brother.

"It's none of your business and don't cross the line. I told you I'd answer your questions about power. I won't report to you, won't flatter the good in your hearts, or say anything about myself." Blake spoke coldly.

"T-True. I'm sorry."' Yoichi waved his hands in front of him and apologized. Blake's cold tone and revealingly uncomfortable looks made him quickly notice his mistake. He almost broke the pot, causing them to miss their only opportunity to learn about their powers.

"I'm going to ask, can we beat All for One with that power?" Nana placed it in the area next to her legs and gently lifted herself.

Each one of them turned his attention back to Blake. They wanted to end the painful cycle that lasted for years. They wanted to bring an end to the people who constantly die, the families who suffer, the heroes who die almost every day, and the youth who are being trained to end this cycle.

"Yes, very easily." Blake responded without hesitation. İf they used only 5% of the speed power in them, they could beat One For All easily.

Their odds lay in their ability to use their potential. However, it depended on whether they used it or not, and in the current situation, they could not use even 0.01%, let aside from 5% of its potential.

With the speed force so revolting, they could forget about beating The All for One. Midoriya could consider himself lucky if he could live a few years, as his speed power regularly wrecked his insides and body

"T-True?" Nana's voice trembled, her face glowed with excitement because of Blake's words.

"Yes, you can beat him very easily. If this child survives to this day." Blake hit his seat with a grin.

"What do you mean?" En, who has been silent since the beginning of the conversation, asked. Like everyone else out there, he was able to recognize the stinging meaning in Blake's words.

"I mean, if I don't get that power from the child, he's going to die eventually." Blake continued his conversation without giving them a chance.

"Don't ask for details. It doesn't matter if you believe me, but you can't chain up something that represents speed. He will destroy the person who has chained him up, regardless of who or what he is." Blake suddenly closed his open fingers as if he were tearing something apart.

The group's eyes widened. Blake's unwavering words and confident demeanor made his words more believable. And knowing more about this power than they did helped them believe it.

"We can't trust you." The man with the injured face, who had been silent from the beginning of the conversation, shook his head. It didn't matter how knowledgeable Blake was about that power, they couldn't just trust him.

"I don't need you to trust me. Just answer me, am I going to take this kid's or Denki's?'' Blake shrugs recklessly. He's been here long enough. He wanted to get to the point now.

Yoichi Shigaraki hesitated with the question. He closed his open mouth and began to think, supporting his jaw with his fingers.

As the first user of One For All, though not the leader, he was aware that his words had a certain weight, and he would probably make the actual decision. That's why he had to think carefully.

He wasn't sure how true Blake's words were, and even if he knew more than they did, there was a possibility that he was lying. After all, their meeting and what happened next wasn't all that friendly. He might have used those words to scare them and trick them into taking the speed power.

But in the event of a misunderstanding, Midoriya would be in great danger. As a Quirkless, he was the best candidate for One For All and they could have sent him to his death with their hands.

On the other hand, there was Denki. He didn't want to involve someone who had nothing to do with it, but Blake seemed determined. He showed no signs of backing down.

'It's very confusing...'' He put his hands in his tangled hair and started stirring. It was the first time he'd ever met a person like that.

Blake was neither good nor bad. There was no side to his movements.

His wishes and actions were entirely his desires and he seemed to have no regrets about his actions. Despite threatening to kill Midoriya twice, there was no hesitation or remorse in his actions.

He wasn't what he could call a psychopath like his brother, he was very cold in his actions. He wasn't enjoying it or suffering. It was as if his heart was petrified and numb to such events.

Yoichi Shigaraki didn't know how to approach Blake.

"We can't give that power..." He spoke between his clenched teeth. He filtered Blake with intricate looks." However, we cannot give Denki's power because..."

'' All right, we're done talking here. As I said, I'm not going to get that power." Blake didn't want to be here anymore. After he said his words, he activated the speed power and severed the connection between them.

"Wait, listen to us!" Ignoring attempts to stop him, he disconnected him.

...

Blake's lashes flickered, his eyes opened slowly and his raven black eyes were exposed.

His eyes became clearer every second. The black pupils regained their old glow after a few seconds.

He leaned back, straightened his head, and after he held his posture upright, he got up from his seat and headed for the exit.

He seemed to have completely lost interest in Midoriya, not a single look as he went out.

Rather than lose interest, for now, he had thrown Midoriya and within's speed power out of his head.

He had noticed that he had reacted somewhat abruptly because of his desire for speed power. The small pressure of not being able to increase his speed for a long time had caused Blake to rush forward without thinking about the rest.

At the beginning of the conversation, he realized how hasty he was. What will happen to him when he takes the speed power? How will it affect him? What exactly does he need to do, and how exactly will he absorb this power?

He threw himself forward without thinking about all these unanswered questions. During the conversation, he had a chance to think about it properly.

The answer to these questions lays in Denki's power of speed. He could answer these questions with the small amount of speed power he would get from him. Since the amount was small, it would have little effect on him, and when he decided to absorb Midoriya's speed power, he would be prepared.

Blake hadn't given up on the speed power within Midoriya. He just pushed it to a later date. A promise he made to a few strangers would be ignored unless Teka asked him to on behalf of her friend.

Blake grabbed the doorknob and opened it with one pull.

''Ah.''

When Blake opened the door, he ran into Momo. Momo, who was turning in front of her at the time, braked herself at the last minute to avoid hitting Blake.

Momo raised her head, looking into Blake's eyes. Their faces were so close to each other that they could feel their breath on their faces. Their bodies were heating up, and Momo's large breasts were leaning lightly against Blake.

One side of Blake's lip lifted and formed a charismatic smile.

''Hello, Yaoyorozu-san.''

"H-Hello Blake-san." Momo was surprised to see Blake right in her face. She unconsciously stuttered.

"Whistle* Whistle*" Momo turned her head with the whistle that followed. She saw the girls in the class throw meaningful glances at her and cheer for her in support.

"T-This is not what you think." A healthy rash appeared on her face. She tilted her head slightly and waved her hands, trying to deny their movements.

She didn't realize that her reaction was confirming and fueling them even more

"Then I'll go, Yaoyorozu-san. Keep working diligently." Blake passed the girl. After telling Midoriya's mother he was going to go, he slipped out of the group and headed for the exit.

...

"Oh, it's been a while since I've visited her. While I'm here, why don't I visit?" Blake stopped his steps as he was about to go down the stairs. He completely changed direction, went into the hallway.

The person Blake thought of was someone who had spent time with Nejire while she was here. She was the person who took care of and spent time with the curious girl in his absence.

Turning from the end of the corridor, he entered a new corridor.

"Oh, Enji's visiting." Blake made a prediction when he saw the bone-shaking cold that hit his face.

The hallway was covered with thick ice. Crystal-like transparent ice had metal brightness. The cold wind that hit Blake in the face was cold enough to make the person blush and shiver from the cold.

Blake walked to the open door and looked in.

It was covered in crystalline ice like a corridor. But the cold inside was many times greater than the cold air outside. All the items were turned into ice sculptures, some covered in layers of ice.

In the middle of all this was a woman who looked like a flower in the middle of the snowy mountains. She had white hair. She had a slightly wrinkled face but it was possible to see her youthful beauty on her face.

She was wearing a hospital suit. She had a good body structure that the hospital outfit couldn't hide.

Despite all this, she was not in a good state at the moment. She had pure anger on her face. Every time she took a breath, she was blowing flames, and the cold steam coming out of her mouth was amplifying the effect.

Her testimony was slammed with anger. Anger, hatred, regret, pain, grudge, paranoia, sadness, these feelings that should not have been present in anyone at once had a place on her face and contained a slightly insane look.
