Chapter 62- Strikes

Once Claudia was safely brought to the medical ward, I had some alone time with my other… friend… to say the least. I made my way to the back of the campus near the Archery field. Not a lot of students come by here so I’ll I can blow up at Satan as much as I want.

Hiding through the trees and bushes, I glared at my own shadow. “What were you thinking?!” I shouted as I waved my arms around. “Why am I out of bed?! And why were you in control?!”

My shadow wobbled as it grew against the tree trunk, forming the shape of a wolf. His ears were flat against his head as he whimpered out like a hurt puppy. ‘I apologize. I knew of my mistake and I will not deny it. I lost control of myself, that will be something I need to fix.’

I raised my eyebrow at him. “O…kay?” I didn’t expect him to apologize or look upset about it. Usually, he’s more… snarky and wouldn’t care about anything. “A-As long as you understand?”
