After finishing up the obstacle course part of the exam, some students wanted to repeat their test but were sadly ignored or told to just leave if they want to.
They could only shut up and follow the proctors to the next part of the test, which is a simple interview.
In the eyes of many, this is just a formality since most people just give the cliche "I'll save everyone" BS and try to sell themselves, so it's usually if you don't impress the teachers during your first two tests then you're fu-cked...or unless you impress someone in the interview.
They were led in a room and were told to just take a seat with the six people they participated in the race with.
And oh boy.
Students were glaring at their hatred towards Kaga and Himiko, already trying to intimidate them, clearly clouded by anger...they'll regret doing so. The ones throwing the hate were only those within their group though.
But Kaga with her keen instincts found this annoying, you see if you have the physique of a Werebeast or in this world a mutant type quirk like that of an animal's, you'd be quite sensitive to emotions.
With one Kaga was now looking at the biggest in her group that she analyzed to have all muscle but no brains, "Continue glaring at me and I swear a fist of ice will head towards you", Kaga threatened.
"A simple ice quirk can't affect me, you were cheating during the test! DAMN MUTANT!", he scowled...but as he insulted Kaga, Himiko and Shoto began standing up to move away.
'Ahhh...so he's one of those kinds of pricks if you're not a complete human then you're not human', Kaga thought to herself since she has seen this type of thing already, but people with full-body mutation face the brunt of the hate.
And true to her words, Kaga created a fist of ice... the only difference is that this thing is a size of a car.
*BANG!*
*CRACK!*
The fist-shaped ice slammed into the students who clearly thought the person in front of him was bluffing, the attack was quick and precise, it was basically getting point blanked by a car.
The student crashed to the walls of the room and the walls cracked a little, 'Huh...nice walls', Kaga complimented.
Kaga then waved her hand and the ice that was present in the room was nowhere to be seen or felt as if an illusion.
*Bang*
The doors to the class were opened quickly since they felt a slight tremor and thought that it got heated in the waiting room, this happens often during recommendation exams since the students are allowed to fight each other during the obstacle race.
When the teacher appeared, the students within the room already expected that the student who threw the punch would be immediately disqualified.
"What happened here?", said the man as if he was already one step away from sleeping.
"Nothing, he was simply dissatisfied with his result and tried making a ruckus by intimidating students, I simply knocked him out so that the students won't feel threatened", Kaga answered back which shocked everyone within the room.
'The story changed!', they thought, even Momo was shocked to see her new acquaintance lying directly without even a stutter or a flinch.
"Disqualified.", Aizawa said as he pointed at the knocked-out student, he already knew that Kaga was twisting the story but still knew that she won't act unless provoked.
The student was just hauled out by two robots in a stretcher and brought him wherever the injured go to, "Don't provoke someone that can freeze a building-sized monster easily", Aizawa advised the people in the room before leaving.
Everyone then remembered the Sky Egg incident, it has already been more than a year but it seems people have forgotten it, and this is the result of forgetting it.

Fast forward to the actual interview, Kaga was now facing a chimera...or the famous dog, mouse, bear, or something Principle.
"Well, Good Day to you Principle Nezu. You could've simply given the three of us a pass with our abilities though", Kaga said clearly not feeling nervous by being questioned by Kaga.
'I wonder...are you the traitor? Can All For One really control you but you just don't know? Or those theories in my past life are just a sham...welp...I have my sister Eri to rewind whatever "malware" you have on you', Kaga thought as she examined the Principle in front of her.
"Good day to you too, Miss Asakura, I certainly could have given you an instant admission but formalities are needed as well. I also would like to talk and if you mind, a game of chess", Nezu said as he quickly brought out a chessboard.
"Well, I'm at least curious to find out how great the mind behind U.A. is at least.", Kaga accepted the offer and was actually excited.
"Would you like some tea as well?"
"That'll be wonderful", Kaga usually drinks tea from time to time since whenever she visits the Todoroki household, they would always have a pot of tea during dinner time too.
So she's quite used to drinking tea compared to coffee, even in her household they prefer tea but they prefer it with milk which Kaga doesn't really like.
As Principal Nezu prepares the tea, Kaga prepares the chess set as a courtesy, even though Kaga is playful she still has manners ingrained into her by her Mom.
Fast forward, when Kaga looked at the prepared tea she took a gentle whiff first to see if there's anything funny but also complimented how fragrant it is as an excuse...but it really was fragrant.
As they played their game of chess, Kaga was heavily boosting her brain to make it seem like time slowed for her view so that she can close the gap of thinking and planning against someone with an intelligence quirk.
Though it seems currently they are at a standstill, simply meant no one has an advantage over anyone, for a game that only occurred minutes ago...in Kaga's view tens of minutes already passed.
Secretly, Nezu was quite impressed with Kaga, especially when he heard what she did during the written test and finished it within minutes, and here he is now playing chess with the same person but held him off nearly to a tie.
After some back and forth moves they really ended in a tie, 'My brain feels dried up, but I'll just smile', Kaga thought as she simply bid the Principal farewell, and not minding the fact that she wasn't even questioned or interviewed.

In another room...
"So...Daddy...are you going to question me or what~?", Himiko playfully asked the man in front of her...her adoptive dad...and also a teacher in U.A. High, AKA Vlad King.
"Sigh...just go to the next chapter will ya?"
"Hai~!", Himiko and the readers said in unison.
To everyone in the world, all they heard was the echoing of a strange voice.
