I think this is the first time, I using my laptop, not phone to write a review.
I wanted to give a proper review, as this fanfic is one of the best I ever read.
And properly the best crossover fanfic I read in some time.
If I had to put one word to use to describe this fanfic, it will be potential, it has the potential to be something more than just a masterpiece of a fanfic, it has the potential to become its own story, not a story coated with another story, like all fanfics.
You will understand what I meant, if you give it a try.

Writing Quality: 9 / 10
Sometimes there are mistakes, but they mostly mirror, even not noticeable mistakes at that, besides that, the way the author tells the story is something else, he has a way with words, making the reader to engage further and further into his tale of his fanfic, that could evolve into something unique.
Not to mention the lore, for one thing that many might not like, is the heavy lore involved in this fanfic, that the author uses it to twisted the flow of the story, making it more than just another fanfic, more than just one of the few masterpieces in Webnovel, something unique, something special.
It also shows how much effort he has put in this. For someone who only played the Dark Souls once, a long time ago, makes me want to re-buy the games, to see the lore behind the game myself.

Stability of Updates: 10 / 10
I read this until 170+ chapters, and it has over 180+ chapters within 8 months span, or least that what it tells in the chapter list. So, I guess the author does update often when he has his chapters.

Story Development: 10 / 10
There is no other way around it, like I mentioned before, this fanfic is becoming something so unique, a masterpiece on its own rights. You can tell how much effort and thought the author has, each arc, each act always has a purpose, even the smallest things, has a massive impact later on in the fanfic, catching you off guard when it happens.
This is why I am hooked in this fanfic, one of the two elements why this fanfic is so good and so unique. The author wanted to tell a story, a unique tale of many things, and he does it so perfectly at that.

Character Design: 10 / 10
This is the main element, besides the story element, that makes this so good.
The author does not only make the characters they are like in the canon, he also develops them into something else, making them feel different to the canon characters we all knew and love. He does not just focus on the main characters, or the key characters like most do.
He even develops all characters, even the ones that most wouldn’t bother to develop, and that just the ones from Naruto.
The ones from Dark Souls, he makes them as he sees them, given the readers reasons and proof behind each character’s settings and development themselves.
This is why, every character, be they are the main, key, sides, or minor characters at that, feels alive, feels they are important than just mere stepping stones for the development of the story the Author wants to tell.
He makes you feel for them, makes you feel they are not just characters from either Naturo or Dark Souls, but something else, that is why it is hard to leave this fanfic, because it makes you wonder, how or what will happened to even the smallest of characters, that are not important in the overall story.

Author is telling a story, a story that should not be underestimated, a story that many will not like, or be engaged with it every step of the way.
The world might be of Dark Souls and Naturo crossing between the two worlds. But that’s not all true, the author is telling, he is developing something unique, a tale of a legend itself, a different outcome between two worlds, that are not possible in the two canons.
That is why, the world setting, the background, and even the prices of power within the fanfic, are so well written, not without any reason, but with a purpose.
