Chapter 113 Going Back to the Palace

Calamity left the War Defending Palace, stopped a carriage and then made her way to the Royal Palace.

The guards of the Palace saw her as if they knew that she would show up. They made a salute to her and said, “Doctor Irma, the King asked you to meet him immediately after you get back to the Palace.”

“Please show me the way.” Calamity said in a composed voice.

The guard led the way in front. They walked through the winding routes in the Imperial Garden, which had so many precious and beautiful flowers. However, no matter how precious they were, they were still not as beautiful as the rose growing wildly in the corner. Calamity was not focusing on the beautiful view right now. She had become perturbed ever since she heard that Alisha got pregnant.

Williams would become a father soon. She probably should congratulate him.

She sorted her messy hair and also her mind. A wry smile came to her face.
