Staycation

"Dont think too highly of yourself" she scrunched her nose as if the idea of marrying Daniel is wretched, while she was actually fighting within her innerself to control her anxiousness. Calming her traitorous heart.

Disappointed with Helena answer, Daniel then entertain more to see what type of compensation she needed from him. Marriage is the top compensation he indirectly offered to her and she refused. He hates that he cant force her since he is worried she will take a step back each time he advanced one step further.

"Do tell what do you need then?" he crossed his arm reading her features and reactions, he wanted to court her and make her his forever. His questions sounds a little desperate, oh the almighty Daniel has fallen weak infront of the siren. Three weeks of alternating between work and torturing Matthew Long did not satiated his anger seeing her laying down unconscious. Daryl Koo sealed the medical records, and it took him threatening the director again to released the medical records for him to know the cause of her state is unknown. Something fishy is going on around her and he will investigated it.

"Staycation in one of you presidential suite for a week, for free all expenses paid" she chuckled. She needed a place to craft her plan and strategy, and knowing Anderson's hotel will be off limit from any surveillance. Gaining Helena previous memory was such a fresh breathe of air, she knew much more and she will use it to her advantages.

Daniel raised his eyebrows, shock was evidently painted in his handsome face. 'she refused marriage and wants a free staycation? ' he monologue in his head. 'Pfffff.. If she is married to me, she practically own everything..sigh dejectedly.. He nodded..

"Sure, Troy will contact you" he stood up not wanting to be there longer since Helena keep making pleading face and little that everyone knows, it has awaken a determination within him to have her all by himself. One can play a game..

Helena watched him leave without looking back, once the door shut, she release the biggest sigh and leaned back again staring at the white ceiling full of thoughts.

She cant say anything since she figured she is monitored by the group she worked for. In the memory, it was just a group of rebel heirs and heiress to have fun until the second in command introduce himself and threatening all of them to obey. The leader is yet to be known, whoever the person is, he or she is good in hiding for anyone to recognize him or her. All of the task she completed was handed by Daryl, that traitor. He was her best friend in her previous life, this life is almost similar yet different again in the other two alternate life she lives. All of the mischievous things she did back then were not herself, it was either a distraction or a means to obtain anything the other people needs.

She closed her eyes trying to remember what had happened the night this Helena committed suicide, it took her a minute since it wasnt her original memory she has to force herself to remember any of it.

After few minutes of staying focus, her eyes widened to the new revalation, laughing and happiness swirling herself as she found something important that can make her go through the ordeal of justifying her actions. It all made sense!

For a moment, her heart bleed for her mother, she had gone through so much in order to make her does not lack in this treacherous society, she understood two decades ago, society wasnt as forgiving if her mother was to do it all alone. Now she needs to contact the two goons she tasked to locate Lorraine Ye back, she has a more important task for them then reporting it to her regarding Lorraine daily routine in a countryside.

Pressing the nurse button she waited for a nurse to come in since Daryl presumably did not informed the attendants that she has woken up.

Nurses and doctors rushed in to see her since she had been unconcious for three weeks due to her frequent seizure, her brains has no time to heal causing her to fell into a coma.

"Inform my mother please" she said. Its time to get her mother out of the country and she only have one person she knew that can help her did it undetected, today is the day of her making important choices and gained her life back.

She will take everyone down, one person at a time before she will starts living her life, once everything is settled, she will follow her mother and live their life just two of them.

"uhmm Doctor.."

She broke through her thoughts speaking to the doctor infront of her.

"Can someone send me food? Im famished"..

The doctor face white like a sheet of paper upon realizing they hsve starve the future Mrs Anderson, at least thats what Mr Anderson's assistant informed them.

"I apologize Mrs An... I mean Ms. Lee" bowing repeatedly scaring Helena that was still wondering why are they all terrified of hers. The doctor then ran towards the door leaving her still puzzled againts their reactions.

It doesnt take long for all sorts of food were wheeled into her room in a cart, it consist of every meat and vegetarian dishes, the food definitely did not come from a hospital, however she is too famished to care and dig in right away to satiate her hunger.

Her chewed stop as she sees Daryl walked in again this time in his clothes rather than the hospital white coat. She continue chewing her food while her eyes trailing his every movement. She saw the butter knife on her tray and keep it close to her should he wanted to do anything towards her. Her senses were always heightened when she was with him before, regardless of what she made a good decision to not trust him from the very beginning.

He knocked the vase down as if pretending to be clumsy and stepped on the small camera device that fell together with the flowers.

Turning back to her, their eyes locked and neither back down from the intense staring.

"All you need to do is completed it, so we both can be free"

"Complete what? Seducing the most powerful man in the region, and steal informations? How do you expect me to do it?

Fishing out more informations, she can sees his desperations as well, she knew if she can turned him to her side with cautions, he can be a great asset on their team. The matter is can he be trusted?.

"He likes you! Dont you see it? He had been here everynight taking care of you, terrorizing the entire hospital for your sake, this is it! Get it over with! I hate having my life clutched by them!!! "

Tugging his hair back in distress.

'Daniel stayed here everynight? ' she thought to herself, warm fuzzy feeling lurked inside her traitorous heart. She snapped from it and still not moving her eyes from his face.

Testing the waters, she knew he was forced as well, thats how they were introduced years ago. They were told to be a friend to keep each other accountable. She had never seen anyone else after a period of time and only Daryl coming to let her know her tasks to be completed. That mean he knew them or at least their whereabouts.

She contemplated for a little bit..

"Will this really be the last? Do you know the consequences of crossing Daniel Anderson? Im sure its death!!! " then she realized it.

"I see.. That is why it will be my last.. Then what will happen to you? Promoted into their inner circle, or recruiting more of people like me?? " she screamed

"I get to leave, leave this place!"

" Do you think they will let you leave in one piece? You seem to know too much! A liability! " scoffing she crossed her arms, her eyes still intensely staring at Daryl with hatred.

His face fell and ashen upon Helena words.

'Bingo!! He did not think it through' she uttered to herself.

"You.. didnt know... " she added more thorns.. She equipped herself with a performance to turn him to her side.

"No.. He promised! " his stern but laced in despair voice gave him away too easy.

"You didnt know that, they will discard you like they will did to me, Daniel will not even have the chance to kill me, since they will send someone to do it! "

"Finish your task, remember if you are crying about it to authority, they will know! They have eyes everywhere. Suicide for the second time wont do you anygood! I will personally dig your grave to see you through it."

'Not everywhere Dr Koo.. Not in Daniel circle' she smirked internally. Stupid Daryl!! We shall see!

In a luxury car, Daniel close his eyes after hearing what he needs to confirm. The door open from the outside and Troy bowed to him frustrated with what he heard inside a car on their way to the Hotel.

Trailing behind Daniel, he catch up to him.

"Give Helena a personal key card, and reserves the room for her exclusively, she can use it anytime, the room belong to her. "

Troy stopped in his track scratching his head seeing how Daniel just casually give Helena Lee an exclusive room just under his own personal penthouse.

'Love is blind' he thought to himself before turning back to the hospital to manage Helena discharged papers and personally escorted her home.
