When Oliver was done visiting the three people he dreaded, he went to his old apartment where he used to live alone. He had moved back to the Mayor's, but he still had his things there and sometimes went there when his heart felt heavy. Just like today.
He wanted to be alone. He wanted to think. Or maybe he didn't want to think. He just wanted to be alone. But to his surprise, when he got there, he saw Liam sitting outside, staring into space.
As Oliver got down from his bike and dropped his helmet, he slowly approached Liam and squatted in front of him. That seemed to get Liam out of his reverie.
"What... are you doing here?" Oliver asked in surprise since he hadn't told Liam he was going to stop here.
"I knew you'd come here," Liam said in a faint voice and smiled faintly.
"Are you okay?" Oliver asked, worried as he placed a hand on Liam's forehead to check his temperature. Thankfully, he was well.
