Liam was able to catch up with his aunt before she climbed the stairs. He raced to block her path, his chest heaving up and down from the run and feeling apprehensive since he didn't know what to expect.
"I didn't see anything." She said, raising her hand.
"Lucy!" He cried.
The two maintained eye contact for a while before she burst into laughter. She laughed until she bent over and held her stomach while Liam stood there, looking at her and wondering what was so funny.
"L-Look... look at your face," she said, pointing at his face as she continued to laugh.
"So Cindy has been right all this while, I see?"
"What?" He asked, frowning slightly.
"You are dating that boy."
"We are not dating," he replied, his cheeks heating up.
"Yea. Could have fooled me." She rolled her eyes as she began to walk down to the kitchen.
"I'm serious. We... we aren't in that kind of relationship." He said, following behind her closely.
