Jack was worried about his new friend, Oliver. He had been right when he told Oliver that he reminded him of his past self. The way he was always on the edge and looked like he was scared of the world, had been his way of life for years, especially when he realized he was gay and couldn't come out to either his family or friends. He hadn't had a direct confrontation with Liam when he was still in high school because they rarely bumped into each other. Liam was a junior, and they had separate classes. But when Jack eventually came out and everyone became aware, and he passed by Liam, the boy always threw him a disgusted look. He hadn't bothered with Liam because he had a bigger problem— Simon Walker.
