Chapter 4 ( The CEO is my neighbour )

It was Bai Fu. I was surprised to know that the person who is living besides me is my CEO. According to the rumors, I heard that the CEO is very strict and likes people who create no mistakes. Then I remembered his room. No wonder his room seemed like a rich person's room. He said, " Good morning to all. My name is Bai Tianyu. As you all successfully joined this company, I hope you know all the rules and try to maintain discipline and much as possible. I don't want any mistakes ahead so if you think right now that you can't work here, get out now. It will be helpful for us too to take care of less people. You will be given your Id card after a week. In this week, all your assignments will be checked thoroughly. There are a total of 10 points. If an intern gets less than 5 points, he shall be removed immediately. Thank you."

After he went away, the whole room was filled with silence. No one dared to talk to anyone. Miss Wei said, " Ok since the CEO has given his speech, you can stay in this room for now so as to know your fellow mates. You will be given your assignments starting from tomorrow. So for now chill and make some new friends."

When Miss Wei left the room, one girl said," I hope our days ahead go well. I heard that the CEO is strict but I never knew that he is so strict." Three boys came towards me and greeted, " Hi my name is Sile and this is my friend Yuze and this is Sicong. Can we be friends with you if you would like?" I replied," Hi my name is Xinxin. I would really appreciate being your friend." We four shook hands and then Sile said, " Now let me introduce you to each one of us. This is Yuze. He is known for his gossip. He can easily be friends with anyone. He can get any information from anywhere. This one here Sicong. He is a brainy. He can hack into any computer. I am Sile. I am know for my extra activities like sports, dance etc. What about you? What are you good at?" I said, " I am Xinxin. I am known for being a bookworm as I always read books. I gain general knowledge from books. You can ask me any question."

Sile said," Wow our group is really cool man. Hope we all get along. Wanna grab for a bite since it's almost lunch time." I agreed to go. It felt nice to have such a good group. All had their own uniqueness. No one was less than the other. We got our lunch and sat down on a nearby table. As we were about to start, a girl who was a intern came near us with her two other friends. She said," If this table is not taken, can we sit here?" Sile agreed and they sat. One among them said," Hi my name is Meijuan. This is Peiling and this is Tina." We greeted each other and talked about each other's interests while having our lunch.

Meijuan said," Our CEO looks very handsome and elegant but is very strict. I heard that he showed no mercy while recruiting interns. There were a total of 1000 students who came but in the end only 30 got selected. We are really lucky to be selected inside those 30." Yuze then said," Yes and I also heard that in the end, there were 35 students but he removed the rest 5 as they were not dressed properly and neatly. I just wish to not get any work assigned by him or be recruited as an employee near him or else my peaceful days here will become my burial days." We all laughed at his comment. I told them to lower their voice in case the CEO hears them. We then exchanged numbers and had our lunch peacefully.

After lunch, when I was going to keep my plate, I felt a cold chill in back. I turned behind but I saw no one. It seemed like someone was looking at me. When I around, I didn't see anyone. Yuze came towards me and asked," What happened? Are you looking for someone? You seem distracted." I replied, "No, I just felt like as if someone was looking at me. Maybe it's just my illusion." Yuze then said, "Maybe it's because you are thinking about how to work here smoothly without receiving any punishments." I said, " Maybe."

After keeping our plates, we headed back to our room where all interns were. Miss Wei came after an hour and said," Since today is your first day, so we are letting you leave early today. These are your schedules. When I call out your names, come and pick your schedules. You will start work starting from tomorrow."
