Chapter 71: David Lorence

Melody planned for a small party for Rayan and Jasmine to welcome them from the second honeymoon trip they went to.

It was Melody’s idea to go for a trip away from everyone to have a good start. She had high hopes that things would finally be great between them.

The party had a few old friends of Rayan and some people Jasmine knew from the social activities she did in the town.

After the party had finished, Jasmine went to see Melody in her room. She knocked on the door,

“Come in,” Melody answered.

Jasmine came in with a fake smile, but Melody sensed that Jasmine was irritated.

“Thanks for your efforts, Melody, but I appreciate, if you please stop interfering in my life,” Jasmine said.

Melody smiled and said, “Apologies dear, I never thought throwing a party to welcome you back is interference. But, if this bothered you somehow, I am sorry. I did not mean it. I am happy to see things between you and Rayan going well. That is all that I want.”
