Chapter 429

"Good thing I was prepared for the worst, else it would be a mystery who the next victim would be. So is it a success?" asked Jason in anticipation as he headed towards the guard to take a look.

On getting there, he was surprised to see the guard looking so slim like he was a mummy and if not for the little vital fluctuation he felt, he would have thought that he's dead. 

"I think he needs to be tended to before we lose him" Jason gave the warning before walking over to Diana while leaving the safety of the guard to Austin and the fourth prince. 

"Looks like you succeeded in getting rid of the possessed but you don't look good yourself" said Jason with a smile on his face as he squatted close to Diana before passing her a pill that could help in recovering her spiritual energy. 

"Yeah I'm good, just need a little time to rest" replied Diana before taking the pill from him and throwing it into her mouth.
