Chapter 10: space is beautiful

"I certainly can." yeosang smirked. he knew that wooyoung was interested in space and now that he mentioned magic, wooyoung looked so excited that he might burst open from all the excitement. "but not here." he added quickly, seeing the disappointment on wooyoung's face.

"huh? not here?" wooyoung tilted his head. "you can't use magic on earth?" he continued with his questions. yeosang nodded and sat next to wooyoung. "aww, that's too bad." wooyoung pouted.

"but you're coming with me, so you're able to see magic being used up close and personal." yeosang smiled. wooyoung's smile brightened and so did yeosang's. "but we have to take off now, remember?" he said and stood up, reaching for the crystal again.

"let's go!" yeosang yelled excitedly and closed his eyes. "the window is there, by the way." he pointed at the window and closed his eyes again. wooyoung looked at the window and tilted his head in confusion again. "people can't see the window from the outside, that's what's cool about this ship."

wooyoung nodded slowly and made his way to the window, looking outside. it was still raining a little. the ship started shaking and wooyoung fell on the floor on accident. "ouch..." he whined as he got up to look outside, but before he realized, they were already on air, flying upwards. his eyes widened and he opened his mouth in awe as the ship took off the ground towards the dark sky.

wooyoung watched as they passed the clouds, mesmerized at every little thing he saw on their way to space. "this is so cool!" he whisper-yelled under his breath. yeosang chuckled. "how many times have you done this?"

"oh, too many times, trust me." yeosang huffed. "I could do this blindfolded and with my hands on my back." he laughed. wooyoung chuckled with him and looked at the endless sky.

"how much longer until we reach space?" wooyoung asked curiously.

"close your eyes."

and so wooyoung closed his eyes.

"count to ten."

and so wooyoung started to count.

one,

two,

three,

four,

five,

six,

seven,

eight,

nine,

ten.

"open your eyes now."

and when wooyoung opened his eyes, he was blown away because of the scenery in front of him.
