Collaborative training

The lunch hall was in complete chaos. The werewolves, as expected, had little interest in maintaining etiquette. Raised in traditional packs, living more like nomads in the wild than royalty, their eating habits reflected their rugged upbringing. They ate loudly, tearing at their food with little regard for manners or decorum. The witches, on the other hand, weren't even trying. Seated stiffly on the opposite side of the room, they barely made an effort to engage with the wolves. It was clear that both sides were too entrenched in their own worlds to foster any sort of bond.

Akashi had shown up to the hall briefly, surveying the scene before quickly deciding that this type of "bonding" wasn't for him. He grabbed a plate of food, then slipped out quietly, making his way toward Selene's chamber.

Fang's constant anxiety over leaving Selene alone was starting to make more sense to him now. Perhaps he could give Fang some time for himself by watching over Selene.
