We can do it...

I sprinted out of the house, my tears clouding my vision.

I moved past the people making out and sharing blunts on the front lawn to the sidewalk, sprinting like my life depended on it.

After about twenty minutes of running like someone was chasing me, I make it to the park, feeling tears on my cheeks. It was twilight now, the sun going down on the horizon. I looked away from it, trying to get some breath into my lungs and slowing down to walk. Barely anyone was around, except for some kids and their parents on the swings.

I took a seat on the park bench. I didn't want to keep on walking home alone, so I took out my phone, going through my contacts. I preferred to find a person who wouldn't ask me any questions and only drive me home.
